Cool Down Coffee

What a sweet little spot adjacent to the E Street trolley station. I came in during a super hectic morning and was greeted with a calm space. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and quickly worked on my order. The coffee shop was spacious, with several long tables and a large couch that clearly has been lots of love available for relaxing on while you enjoy your drink. Their iced dirty chai is super yummy! I will definitely come back next time I am in the area.

Usually when I take the trolley I crave something fresh to go. I am a photographer in San Diego and I need to feed myself.The place was clean, customer service was polite and friendly to me, ordered a Orea Frapp. It was good, the place was clean.

The iron man bagel was amazing! It has prosciutto, which is my favorite. The egg was soft and fluffy. I would go back to try the other bagels

Amazing cozy coffee shop with delicious bagels and java! Great stop along the trolley route, highly recommend the banana frap and iron man bagel sandwich.

Warm welcome and friendly service. Near transportation! Great coffee and healthy and delicious choices. Monthly Technology Coffee is a good reason to stop by!

As you enter the place, you can already feel the warm and genuine customer service. The ambiance is very homey and simple. They have good simple healthy choices in the menu. I ordered the egg with pesto bagel, really good!!!!! The coffee is not creamy nor sugary, perfect for me!! Will come back for sure.

I would hear the other day it's a very nice cafe and all but it's been upgraded since I've gone the last time I was there .the only difference it's a little it's more expensive than it was last time I went there I bought me a avocado cheese and turkey sandwich with spinach he was absolutely delicious tasty $10:00 it's a bit over pricey for a regular sandwich with a side of chipsThat does not include the drinkguys are a bit expensive the service in this place is excellent!They have really nice clean bathrooms too I don't know it's only for customers or for the bus drivers only or the public is allowed to use them?

Happily writing this review of a small local coffee shop as I have 100% stopped corporate/big box coffee shops: Starbucks, Coffee Bean, McDonalds, Peets, Dunkin, etc.Firstly, the ambiance is serene and welcoming. I admittedly on this venture of finding local coffee shops am a bit shy, particularly if I am alone, to go in, chat, and look around. I have gotten better at expanding my skills on this. The décor reminds me of part homestyle part my grandmother's place. I found an old record player here which reminded me of my grandmother's, which she played a lot of Englebert Humperdinck, loudly! Fond memories. In Cool Down Coffee, there is subtle guitar music which is just the right level for quiet conversation and sets the tone for a cool quiet place to sit alone or with loved ones. It is clean, well laid out, and if you sit away from the entrance door in the opposite corner the air conditioning is sublime.Secondly, I had a caramel latte and a blueberry bagel, both yummy. The bagel was prepared for me with the cream cheese already spread, this gave me the feeling of someone who cared had prepared my bagel for me - not just slopped it together and shoved it in a to go bag or was annoyed to serve me... which brings me to...Thirdly, customer service, the grown man and young man team, quiet and unassuming were attentive to detail. The grown man, I am guessing was the owner (I did not ask - will work on this for future visiting). Was cordial, he read back my order for clarification, explained the coffee would be a minute or two. Had a warm energy and smile and got busy once I paid and left him a cash tip.I really do think small businesses deserve the cash rather than the credit card fees. Today I did not have enough cash to cover the order yet enough for a cash tip. I can imagine the fees small businesses pay for credit processing, the only true winners - the bank.Overall - I encourage you to go. I sat alone and enjoyed my coffee and bagel. I day dreamed a bit and kept off my phone. It was delightful the whole experience. :)

Absolutely OBSESSED!! This place can be a little hidden because of its location next to the trolley stop but inside the ambiance is wonderful, the menu has coffee options for everyone including hot, iced and blended, as well as a small menu featuring artisan sandwiches. I got the banana frappe and it was amazing!!

Amazing!I enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. The worker was nice and patient. The food was absolutely delicious. I came with some of my family this morning and we enjoyed our sandwiches. They are super filling and delicious! The coffee was smooth and sweet! I got the tuxedo iced coffee and I love my coffee sweet. It was perfect. I also loved how it had bible verses around! 100/10!!
