tried a bunch of the tacos! carne asada was loaded with meat! queso taco was the best!!pork belly was very good, flavorful, & that pickled onion was perfectadobada was a bit drypoblano was good once i added some meat to itmar y tierra was the bestest best!! shrimp, meat, cheese...what more could you want!! neighborhood was kinda sketch but it's my hood so it's all good haha! just wouldn't go there once it's dark definitely going again to try other stuff since we got a top spot that's near home!

Came here for quick power up while moving. Was met with a friendly face who gave me a killer recommendation for the KILLERR breakfast burrito. Highly recommend!Contodo was fast, friendly, and the burrito was delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other fresh eats.

Really good foods here so believe all the hype! Everything I ordered tasted delicious despite 1 item but that wouldn't deter me from coming back. It's a small shop located in the sketchy part of Paradise Hills in between Skyline and Meadowbrook. They should work on opening a drive thru that I seen used to be there because they'd make a lot of money. The place is small and once you're inside you will reek of grilled/cooked foods since the only thing separating is a dry wall. They do have a couple seats outside. The cashier was really nice. I went in last night and it was busy at the time I went so it took a bit but reasonable.Ordered carne asada fries, carne asada quesadilla, 2 pork belly tacos, 2 adobada tacos, and 2 fish tacos (which are $2 everyday). Everything was delicious! The carne asada was not salty and had a perfect taste! The fish tacos were good! The pork belly tacos were also really good that the pickled red onions complimented. Their adobada was a bit too salty for me. They gotta lay off the salt and add more pineapples. Their salsa is also really good especially the spicy red one. Would definitely come back!

I have to say, I've returned to Contodo several times now, and each time, I have been more and more impressed. I recently has their chicken rolled tacos which were meaty, the fried fish tacos which were also generous and delicious, the carne asada tacos, carnitas, and pollo asada tacos and the they were fantastic on the house made corn tortillas, and finally the bacon and eggs breakfast burrito which was dynomite! The quality of the food is first rate.Customers service is always friendly and welcoming. I really like the pride they put into their food. It certainly makes a difference.

The food is soooooo good! This is a hidden gem for sure. We got catering for my brother's bday party and everyone asked where we got the food from. The meat is full of flavor and juicy. Beans, rice, salsa, and guacamole are delicious. We drive quite a distance just to order food from here but it is well worth it., especially for the hand made tortillas. I'm going to say it, it's my favorite Mexican restaurant in SD right now. Please don't change anything! Side Note: the catering pick up could've been better organized, but the food was worth the small inconvenience.

So glad we have a taco shop back in this spot! Went here today for lunch. The new owners have cleaned the place up and it looks fresh and new. Was happily greeted when I entered. Ordered a ca burrito without guac or crema. Burrito is huge and it was delicious! Definitely will be a regular customer. So glad they are here!

New taco spot in the area. Decided to stop by for lunch. Service was great! I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the owner. Food came out at a reasonable time. Ambience Was good. The outside is very inviting. They have outdoor seating. The shop is clean, and organized. The menu was easy to read on the screens above the counter. They also have paper menus if needed. Pricing is good for a street taco. Love that they have taco Tuesday deals!I ordered Adobada, Carne Asada, and pollo. I got a total of 6 tacos for my husband and I. They were all very delicious and filling. I love that the tortillas are handmade. They are generous with the amount of protein given. Parking available since it's in a small plaza. They have a drive-tru that isn't opened yet but they are working on the logistics of that. Happy to see a new spot in the neighborhood. Looking forward to working our way down the menu.

So happy I decided to check out Contodo on a whim tonight because I just found my new go-to taco spot! The service was attentive and efficient. I ordered 3 tacos: the carne asada, mar y tierra, and a battered fish taco. They were all so flavorful. The carne asada was juicy and I loved the grilled shrimp and chipotle sauce on the mar y tierra. The battered fish taco was cooked perfectly and not soggy. The salsas especially the extra spicy one were great. Can't wait to come back and try more delicious items soon!

Got the carne asada fries. Could use a bit more seasoning but over all it was good. Loved their salsas. Cashier was nice.

This place is legit the wifey and kiddos wanted some delicious mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The wifey 5 rolled tacos with the works two thumbs upMy little ones adobada fries large pricy but well worth it. meat flavorful and the fries kept there crunchiness. Myself I ordered the poblano taco has to be my favorite out of all we ordered. Everything was delicious only complain I have is i ordered the beef roll tacos but I got chicken. Don't get me wrong the chicken tacos were delicious Employees friendly food delicious will come again All in all Garcia family approved !!!!!!
