Was so excited to try this spot as I could tell it was a similar vibe to Dutch bros which I loveeeeeIt looks to be drive thru only and the person helping us was super kind and patient as we ordered, we got the Newport iced coffee (as sugar free as possible) which has almond coconut and mocha which was very yummy and the seaside sunshine lemonade which was super tropical and creamyWill definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!

We came primarily for the cookies. Arrived at 1ish on a Saturday and was told they sold out of their noon batch and to come back at 4pm for the next batch. We were in the drive thru so we ordered drinks just so the trip wasn't a waste. I ordered the Ken subbed with Pepsi Zero instead of Diet Pepsi and hubby ordered the Pink Flamingo. We are not soda drinkers so our drinks were way too sweet for our taste buds. We ended up throwing them away midway through. I don't think we'd come back for the cookies especially if they don't bake enough. The scarcity tactic doesn't give me FOMO enough to want to try. The cookie flavors were basic and apparently they bake them every four hours. Why limit your revenue potential? The stars are for the staff who were friendly and apologetic.

a cool drive through coffee stand in the sports area area. i liked that there are 2 sides of the drive through to help with speed. they do not offer dine in but there's both a drive through and pick up windowwe ordered a Del Mar iced coffee and it was good, i would be interested in trying the La Jolla next time. service was fast even though they seem to be new.

Was lucky that there weren't cars when I showed up so I can ask all about the dairy free options. Love the team as they were so accommodating in looking up the ingredients to make sure it was dairy free (mocha is the creme or creamer for the dirty sodas are not). I ordered the turtle bay mocha coffee with oat milk. It was so good even without the cream top. Their coffee sizes are nice as the small starts with 16 oz, med 24 and large 32 (please double check this last one). Definitely coming back for a dirty soda. Appreciate the team looking at those ingredients for me! It was definitely made with love.

This place is great to get a refreshing drink. I got the peachy keen with fizzy water and it was good. But I really enjoyed the Coco Crush but with the fizzy water it basically exploded all over my car which was very annoying but I don't blame the workers.It was 4pm so cookies were sold out! Bummer , but excited to try them out soon. The dirty sodas are great since you can customize with all the flavors. Can't wait to bring the fam, limited parking and outside seating to be mindful of that.

My friend introduced me to coco playa and told me I had to come try it out! Let me tell you - the places absolutely so cute! I love how they designed it. I just love the vibes they give off. The drinks are absolutely delicious! I couldn't decide so I had to get two drinks. The cookies are really really good! The service was excellent, they were very helpful and have great recommendations! I honestly can't wait to go back again! If you haven't been here yet you definitely need too and definitely try to get a cookie that run out fast!

I love this place! I have an obsession with coffee and I come here everyday and get the same thing. An Iced Vanilla Latte with Oatmilk and STRAWBERRY SOFT TOP is my go to and it's a game changer!! The cookies are also delicious! We usually get the Blue Playa, Cookies and Cream and also the Nutella is really good too. The staff is super friendly and my favs are Josh and Tianna. Josh is so hilarious he brightens my day every time I come in! I am crazy for driving 15 min to get coffee, but it's totally worth it!!!!

For being a new coffee/drink shop I was surprised by how efficient the new employees were. Dani was very nice and helped me out while ordering and made it a very quick order. I ordered a Peachy Keen fizz drink and a Del Mar iced coffee. I wish the drinks had a little more syrup in them as they were less on the sweet side than I expected, but overall still good drinks. It seems like they run out of cookies from the morning rush; so get there early to try some! Also, if you don't want to wait in a long line, come during the week after the morning rush around 11 and it will be a quick checkout!

This was the home of a couple of previous taquerias before CoCo Playa recently opened in the space on Kurtz St in the Midway District. It's a drive thru setup with an ordering lane on each side of the structure and then a couple of service windows in the front to handle walk-up customers. No inside seating was available, however there were a few outside tables on the south side of the building. Parking was limited to three spots, one of which was handicap designated.The menu listed coffee, cookies, dirty soda, energy drinks, and refreshers as the main categories. I noticed four types of cookies, but passed on them as my focus was on the cold drinks in the refreshers. There was a choice of bases... flat or fizz, tea (black or green), lemonade, and Red Bull. From there, eight different flavor combinations were available to choose from. Three serving sizes were offered, all of which had an affordable price.The items I purchased were the Mango Tango and Peachy Keen. I opted for lemonade in the first drink which was blended with mango puree and strawberry. For the second drink, my choice was green tea with peach, strawberry, and coco creme. Of the two, the Mango Tango had a better flavor profile because the ratio of sweetness to tartness was right. The coco creme in the Peachy Keen did nothing to enhance that beverage.During my visit, there was a group of customers ahead of me in line. Between them and the multiple vehicles in the drive-thru lanes, I had a significant wait of 20 minutes before I was able to place an order. I will chalk that up to bad timing as the volume of orders hit a surge that likely challenged the staff to keep pace.

Rainey was the coolest person to have take our order. She was super nice and friendly. Very hard working as well! Hope she can get those disney tickets!
