Chinese Bakery

I've been shopping at this bakery since I was a kid. They have best cream puffs ever, my favorite is their birthday cakes with fresh strawberries and crushed almonds

My family has been coming here for over 20 years! We absolutely love this place. The owners and super sweet and easy to talk to. The cakes are delicious and never disappoint. We get these cakes for all occasions. The ambiance of the bakery is very nice and I love seeing all of the cakes/desserts/and decorations they have to offer. I will never stop coming here!!!

Not to happy with my cake. The name was spelled wrong even with it wrote down by her on paper. Then she tried to remove the name with the icing pen she was writing with that didn't work it just made a dent in the cake. Then she wanted to cover the cake dent with sprinkles instead of just going to the back and getting a clean spatula and take off the messed up name and put the right name. I just told her it was fine and just paid her and left.

I'm disappointed with this place because I've been wanting to try their moon cakes. My husband and I shared a taro one with egg in it and the first bite was dry but I thought maybe it just needs to be warmed up. I took two more bites and it tasted off/moldy but I thought to myself maybe that's how it is. Then before my husband took another bite, he noticed white hairy mold...then I was like ohhhh so it was mold I was tasting. We tried the wintermelon next thinking the taro was the only one that's moldy/old, but the wintermelon also had a weird taste to it. Then I looked to see if others who reviewed the Chinese Bakery experienced the same and they also found mold in their pastries from the cases. I guess just be weary....

I ordered a strawberry cake a few days prior to pick up. The cake was fresh and they put fresh toasted almonds on the cake at pick up. The cake was delicious and not overly sweet. It was fairly priced as well. The only thing I find annoying is parking is so hard to find since it's across from Sin Lee supermarket.

My mom wanted a Pandan cake for her birthday, so I asked some friends where I should go and got referred here. I called in 4 days before the birthday party and they were able to fulfil the order. Talking to Henry on the phone was a breeze. We even got disconnected on the business line and he called me from his cell phone to finish my order. They are CASH ONLY and my huge sheet cake cost me $80. Picking up was easy; Henry taped the box and brought it out to my car. They sell candles there as well. The cake was a hit! The pandan cake was not too sweet and I had the option of adding multiple fillings, so I added coconut inside one side and strawberry filling in the other. There was also sliced almonds along the sides of the cake and it was neatly decorated the day of pick up.

Love this shop, I order at least 5-7 cakes each year. I came in today to pick up this cake, asked the lady if she had any extra one. She told me to wait a little so I'm waiting for my other cake as well. CASH ONLY and they're close on Mondays.

I must have driven by here a gazillion times! For my friend's birthday, this is what he wanted...a small strawberry cake. I had offered a cake from my regular bougie bakery, but nope, a strawberry cake from here. The interior reminds me of the places up in San Francisco's Chinatown, and I believe it's family owned. The woman asked me questions that I wasn't sure about like what color I wanted and almond slices...picked red and said yes, and so glad I did! She also wrote Happy Birthday on it too. I also can't believe how inexpensive it was!The cake is light and the frosting is a cross between whipped cream and butter cream! So good! I now want to buy a bigger cake just for myself! Definitely worth checking out!

Old school Chinese Cantonese style bakery which has been around like decades. I didn't spend much time in here in the past until one of my client bought me a bunch of egg tarts from the store, I was blown away by it, everything in here are simple to the minimal, no logos printed on their boxes or bags, they have more traditional pastries than any up to date or trendy one such as salted egg yolk or boba tea topping, but the selection aren't bad, the price was pretty cheap, so you will get a tons of food for around $20, they only take cash though, but that's alright. Parking will be hard so maybe park on the Nam Bắc Hãng lot, or if you're lucky then find a 20 mins street parking because the Sin Lee customers will fill al the parking spots they could find.

Ordered a cake for AAPI celebration. Everyone loved the cake but they did forget to put the year as requested.
