Great Food! I haven't been in ages. While I was in Santee I stopped for lunch. I ordered Combo #1 Cheese Enchilada and a Beef Taco. Combos come with generous portions of beans and rice. Their salsa bar is exceptional. Lots of extras at no charge - carrots, onions/cilantro & radishes. Several different salsas to choose from. Very clean and comfortable.

Love this place, have been coming consistently for 10+ years Walked in tonight at 10:51pm. yes I was last minute, was going to tip well to make up for it. Gentleman behind the counter tells me they're closed, both hours on the door and online state they are open until 11pm. I understand wanting to get out early, I work food service management. However, posted hours of operation should be adhered to AT ALL TIMES!! Not only when you're feeling like it. Will be back cause the food is great, but please improve guest interactions.

We used to live this place but it is just not good anymore. Look at how much grease ran out of the bottom of my carnitas burrito. It's pretty flavorless too. My husband's super quesadilla was a messy, oily disaster zone. Bad Hombres will be getting all my business going forward. Save yourself from indigestion and waste of money... go to Bad Hombres instead

Idk why the bad reviews. Always getting great food and yummy salsas from here. Service is fast and helpful. We usually go to the drive thru.

We used to love this place, but both of our last 2 visits have been under impressive - from the food, to the service, to the speed.I don't know what changed here behind the scenes, but I will be avoiding them for a while to give them a chance to get back on track.

This is my first time, and last time, ordering food from this restaurant. While the drive- through attendant was completing my order, he asked how many hot sauce containers I want. He offered two or three, to which I asked for a few more (because they are the tiny, half filled containers), to which his reply with a smile was, "it's OK you can waste our money." I'm sorry, WHAT?!? This is not how you speak to customers, especially when there are a lot of competition in the area... to include Bad Hombres, which tastes significantly better than your food. I hope this bad customer service experience will teach this employee a lesson based on my review, and I hope others don't have the same negative experience. Shame on you!

Ordered Carne Asada burrito, tortilla (flour or corn) is provided on the side so you can roll your own burrito. Vegetarian burrito. Chimichanga style. Pre-rolled and deep fried.Food is served on paper plates. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. There's also a salsa bar.

This place has great food!! I love their chilaquiles. Last thing i ordered was carne asada nachos and I could not finish them. Generous on the meat and everything else. Well worth a try

Cazadores seems to be scrambling to stay in business. The prices are so high. It makes sense too because they are definitely not the best Mexican food in Santee. The staff is also not as nice as they used to be, but that's not really an issue for me if the food is reasonable. Today my boyfriend and I came here for the first time since around 2021. We ordered two bean burritos with a few add ins and we were surprised to see the total. When we got the burritos we were sad to learn they made both incorrectly, even though the sharpie they used to mark the wrapping was written with our correct orders. We will not be coming back because the value of the food did not match how much we paid, and there are better places in Santee like Fernys and Sayulitas who will exceed the mark every time. Overall I gave our experience a 3 star because we did still choose to go here after learning the prices, and we also didn't attempt to get our order fixed when we got home and saw it was wrong. So I can't speak on how good they are at correcting their mistakes. If you're researching places in Santee to try I would recommend skipping this location.

Ordered the beef enchilada, chile relleno plate, asked for sour cream to be added, I think they literally put half a pint of sour cream on top... everything was soggy and cold. Ordered husband the beef rolled tacos, thought they would be regular, REAL shredded beef rolled tacos, instead they were ground beef/ rice rolled tacos with DISGUSTING sour cream guacamole all over instead of REAL guacamole. I assumed BEEF ROLLED TACOS WITH GUACAMOLE was going to be traditional beef rolled tacos, they were not, DISGUSTING! If you want REAL/ traditional mexican food, DON'T GO HERE!
