This little gold mine offers a veggie pizza - vegan if you substitute the cheese with a vegan alternative..the cauliflower crust is gluten free & awesome! Add red onion rings on top seals the deal for me.A bit pricey for the smallish size of the pizza so able to enjoy it infrequently.

We stopped here for lunch while adventuring throughout campo, and we really were not disappointed! The burgers were great! Juicy and flavorful and it's a huge portion especially with the fries and milkshake combo. The staff was nice. The place is actually really spacious, it doesn't look that big from the outside. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Since we had some down time before our train ride at the nearby museum, we stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. My French dip was really solid and the onion rings quite delicious. The portions were generous as well, as I rolled out of there feeling pretty stuffed.The place itself isn't much to look at. You order at the counter and then take a seat in the oddly spacious dining room. Perhaps it's used for events -- that would explain all of the empty space between tables. (?) All of the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It would be nice if they did something about the glare on the digital menu board -- it was awfully hard to read the menu. There was also an awful lot of throw away plastic waste -- the au jus and BBQ sauce came in to go-style thick plastic containers that seemed a bit overboard. It'd be nice to use something either reusable or less wasteful.With solid food and such nice service, though, we'll definitely be back the next time we visit the train museum down the road.

This is a little local spot. We happened to stop by here by chance after visiting the Pacific Southwest railway museum. They have all the food items you would imagine to be at a little cafe, they also have some hand scooped ice cream and local pastries they offer. The service was pretty standard, I came in with a group of 5. Our food came up pretty quick, and we all left very satisfied. There's plenty of parking, and a restroom available to use. I would definitely recommend the French dip.

Downhill since June of 2024. My favorite were the 5 piece chicken tenders. I used to get decent size tenders, it would fill up half the take-out box they provide, but now it looks like chicken fingers. This happened not just in one or two occasions but 3, 1 called once just to let them know that the portion does not match the price but l was kept on hold for roughly 10 min and then it got "cut off". The last straw was when I ordered an 18" pizza (around 27 drs), and they gave me a small ranch cup, I nicely asked if I could get two more (since IT WAS AN 18" PIZZA which can feed 2-3 people), the lady said sorry I can't, new policy only let me give 1 per food order. I responded - "but it's an 18" pizza".. Sheresponded - "There's nothing I can do". (BTW it was not the owner or his wife, they're nice, it was an older lady, seemed like she was having a bad day).Ileft the ranch she gave me on the counter and said"wow, never-mind, just keep it all". That was the last time I was there. I haven't been there since beginning of August. Now I make the drive to Alpine for my tenders and to Lake Morena for my pizzas.It's a little more inconvenient but worth the trip when I get what I am paying for.

Haven't been here in over two years due to lack of customer service , you flip a coin on whether your going to receive what you actually ordered and wait times . The ambiance is that of a small town cafe . The food was good until it wasn't . The last conversation I had was with some manager that was rude and unapologetic, however this being one of the only places to eat out here we actually thought " after two years of not going let's give it one more try , maybe they have improved " we went in again a few weeks ago and it was like crickets . I could hear staff talking and laughing in the back but no one came to the front . We waited about three to five minutes and still no one came out ... we decided to leave and go to Alpine to get food . It's pretty sad when a local would rather drive 30 minutes to get food than 2 minutes down the road . You need new management in there who knows about customer service , consistency, and training . Alpine and Lake Morena is where we will be dinning for now .. not from lack of trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt .

Thank you Campo Cafe! This was the perfect pit stop for our family! The pizza was delicious. My daughter said it was the best pizza she has ever ate. Wings were perfect. The Ranch though! That delicious "restaurant ranch." We enjoyed the shaded outdoor eating area. The bathrooms were roomy and clean. The owner was helpful and fun to talk to. If we ever come back through the area we will definitely stop in again!!

The foods a hit or miss. Either undercooked or burned it seems. Sometimes it's really good and the sandwiches are amazing with the fries and other times there's like nothing on my sandwich, the veggies and meats are bare minimum and for the price, come on. If you're low on a product just say you ran out and I'll order something else happily, I understand. But the prices are bad considering the costumer service. Also please stay consistent with ingredients. One day the pizzas awesome, the next there's no cheese and the dough is undercooked and there's no sauce. I keep giving it a try because it's good some times but it's not worth it anymore I'll be taking my business to the sandwich shop that never fails and has stuffed sandwiches I never finish them and worth $10. And they smile at you.

I just moved down to Boulevard and go here when I want to order out. Everything tastes great and always fresh but I LOVE LOVE their wings. These are so flavorful and tender with lots of meat, unlike most places with bone in wings. Always good service too definitely would recommend
