Cali BBQ

Had the rib tip plate and it was pretty tasty!Had it delivered so didn't experience service or ambiance.Cali always pulls thru tho!!

Place is quite large and ample, as soon as you walk in it smells great! The server we had was very helpful and made us feel comfortable when ordering. We got a brisket plate, side of macaroni and cheese, tater tots with an extra side of wedding beans. My favorites were the wedding beans and the jalapeño corn bread. I'm glad we were able to try this spot, my husband had been eager since he loves bbq and had seen them on tv. Since we were in the area we decided to try it out. A few things that needed a little work was: warmer food and more seasoning on the macaroni and cheese.

Heard about Cali BBQ from a colleague of mine and finally had a chance to try. I couldn't make up my mind on what to get so I got the tailgater feast as it had a bit of everything plus sides and cornbread. I ordered delivery and here's how it went...Pulled pork = Good! Nicely smoked. Tender and moist. Brisket = Dee lish ous! This was my favorite. Super tender and moist with just the right amount of smoke. Some may find this on the fatty side. For me? It was just right. Tri Tip = Tasted great! Thinly sliced smokey beef strips. The smoke complimented that strong beefy flavor tri-tip is known for. This would be great in a sandwich!Chicken = Good. The breast was a little dry but the delicious bbq sauce fixed that. The leg and thigh was tender and moist. Rib Tips = My second fave. Nicely seasoned, tender and moist nuggets of pork and bark. I ate all of it. Mac and Cheese = Okay. I prefer my Mac and cheese creamy. Just a personal preference. Wedding Beans = Very good! I usually don't like bbq beans but one bite and I see you! LolCole Slaw = Okay. A smidge on the bland side. Potato Salad = This was also just okay. It was a bit under seasoned. Jalapeno Cornbread = Awesome! Moist, not to sweet with a little heat. They say the tailgater serves 4-5 people. Two of us were able to make a big dent to this feast only leaving a little behind. We are gluttonous :)Do I recommend? Yes!Welp! Onto the next!

Best Brisket in town 100%. Their potato salad and jalapeño poppers are also the best in SD! Yummm

I recently dined at a restaurant and my experience was mixed. The coleslaw was terrible and I was disappointed with the taste. However, the rib dish that I ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The wedding beans were also quite good and complemented the rib dish well. One downside was the ordering process, which was terrible and could be improved by not using a machine. Despite this, the food was made fast and was served hot, which was a plus. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some hits and misses.

Love their spareribs and peach cobbler. Wish they delivered to my area, but worth the drive

I ordered delivery Chicken plate and rib tip plate with potato salad loaded Mac and cheese and beans. We really enjoyed it. The portions are huge the chicken was tender and rib tips were good. We will definitely will be back .

I ordered from Cali BBQ on DoorDash as a result of a promotion they were having on there. I'm sure glad I did! The food was soooo tasty!!! I ordered the County Fair Sandwich which consisted of pulled pork and Mac n cheese in between sourdough bread. It was so yummy! My wife ordered the rib tips which were very flavorful. The sides- potato salad and country beans were also very good. To top it off, The portion sizes are huge ! They don't short change you. I would definitely recommend Cali BBQ!

The brisket was dry and the mac and cheese mushy. The ribs were okay. I had high hopes, oh well.

Great BBQ, delicious peach cobbler, friendly service. Order was ready when I got there. Nice vibe to the restaurant and bar. We'll be back!
