A small wine shop with a wealth of knowledge behind their wines. They offer wine flights, dealer's choice, where you get to try 4 different wines. The servers go in depth describing the wines they pour and go through a white/rose to red wine order. These wines were all good and the flavour profiles of each were rather different which further gave contrast to the wines. Although the wines they pour are different, I'd expect they all to be rather tasteful. The service was great even better considering that there are only 1-2 people servicing 10-15 people. If you're into wine, just starting out or already know the jargon, I would highly recommend this place! Also the décor is rather random but still decorative!

My favorite neighborhood spot. I wish I had more time to spend here during the week. It has a wonderful cozy and local feel to it. Every person I've met here has been welcoming. I love the diversity of wines available. This place has expanded my knowledge and taste for random wines I never would have been able to taste elsewhere. If you're looking for a bottle of something special, just ask. There's a wine club (which I subscribe to). It's $99 for three bottles of wine per month. There are some other perks to being a member, like free wine club tastings. They have charcuterie boards and occasionally hold special events. My favorite one has been the "Rose all day" event that was held in the summer. I hope that comes back. This is a great place to go by yourself for a glass or to catch up with friends (with a bottle of course) You have to stop here if you're in EV.

I love this place! The owner and the entire staff are super nice. They gave us great recommendations and we got to try wines that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Great spot to hang out and have wine with a delicious meat and cheese board! Highly recommend!

In east village San Diego a small, minority and female owned wine shop. featuring boutique producers and special small production wineries. This is the neighborhood hangout for east villagers who want to relax in a cozy space and enjoy great wine. The selection rotates and there is always something exciting to check out on the shelves. Great for happy hour drinks, date night, or a Sunday afternoon wine and cheese pairing. Great locals, dog friendly.

We spontaneously stopped by this cozy shop for a glass of wine and are so happy we did! I had a glass of pinot grigio and my fiancee opted for the mead. The pinot grigio was crisp, refreshing. We were served by the owner, Justus, who was superbly knowledgeable in an approachable way. During our visit, there were individuals participating in a sommelier practice test. During their debrief, we got to listen in and hear their thought processes as well as the owner's guidance. He even came around to bring us tastings of the wines as they debriefed on each one, so we could pseduo-participate as well - so thoughtful!Edit: Turns out we were actually served by the owner, Justus, during our visit - as per his comment on this review :). Thanks, Justus! Updated my review to reflect this as my review previously noted that we hadn't caught the name of our server.

Needed to kill some time and found this place and decided to head over and have a glass of wine. It's not in the best neighborhood so if you are solo maybe take an Uber. Once you're inside it is welcoming and a great setting. You can buy a bottle and take the leftover home or you can get a glass. Great recommendations and the gentleman that helped us was really nice. Great setting and I would recommend. Lots of good wine options.

I stopped by recently, just this past weekend, and it appeared to be closed down. Peaking inside, the bar has been removed along with just about everything else. This was(?) a great little spot, but I'm not sure if they're open any more.

Highly recommend this place! Wine selection and ambiance are top notch here! It's perfect if you're looking for a chill vibe to drink wine with friends, or chat with other customers. The staff are also fun to chat with! The staff are SUPER knowledgeable about wine, so even if you know absolutely nothing about wine, you are guaranteed to walk out the door with a great bottle at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back!!
