Bistro Europa

I was on the hunt for a good lunch in Liberty station and gave this place a try. I am glad I did because it was exactly what I was looking for, a great sandwich! with a good portion size.The bread was amazing and the meat was great. I went with the Chicken San Diego and will absolutely be back for it again. The guy at the front was really nice as well which is always appreciated.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

Liberty Public Market is chock full of food options but on this particular day, yours truly was feeling something a wee bit lighter than the normal fried fare and numerous foods atop rice in a paper bowl. Bistro Europa offers up a mix of salads, sandwiches and cheese boards. I opted for a Manchego and Spanish ham sandwich on gluten-free bread. It came with a nice little arugula side salad with a fresh lemon vinaigrette and feta. Delish. The sandwich itself came with a nice portion of ham and a couple slices of Manchego. The bread was nice and soft (particularly for a GF bread). They apply olive oil directly to the bread which I don't hate per se but it could get dicey if you don't eat it right away. I did but even mine was starting to get a tiny bit soggy.Friendly service and relatively quick for the busy atmosphere and small size of the place. I'd go back.

I stumbled upon this place because I was craving a sandwich. I understand it's located in Liberty Public Market and everything in there is a tad more expensive but charging $16 for these sandwiches is highly questionable. I received two gigantic pieces of focaccia bread with very little in between. Stomach didn't feel right immediately after consuming half of the sandwich. Threw in the towel after the first half. Lots of better options within the market. Would not recommend.

Bistro Europa is the latest sandwich vendor to operate out of this suite at the Liberty Public Market. The left menu screen listed seven appetizers and four types of salad. The right menu screen was dedicated to European-imported meat sandwiches, California-sourced sandwiches, and house special sandwiches which included two vegan varieties. Meats and cheeses were also available for sale by weight. For drinks, there were fruit-flavored waters on refrigerated display in addition to pre-bottled beverages.From the sandwiches with imported meats, I picked the '3 Italian in NY' which was made up of ham, mortadella, and spicy salami served on focaccia bread. The other ingredients were provolone cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, oil, and vinegar. I asked for no mayo on my sandwich. It was ready in about five minutes and cut diagonally before being placed in a cardboard takeout box. Chips or a small salad came with the order. I selected a bag of Better Made potato chips.Maybe I have been spoiled by East Coast-style delicatessens, but I had hoped the meats would be stacked high between the bread. It was just one layer of each meat and was pretty ordinary for a $16 price tag. I guess the import factor added a premium to the cost. My experience at Bistro Europa was at a three star level.

Great service. Located in Public Market at Liberty Station. I ordered the Cubana sandwich. It tasted good but is not the traditional Cuban sandwich. The meat was shredded. Still, I enjoyed the sandwich.

I ordered the Chicken San Diego and the first few bites were great until I found a hair in my sandwich. I am really grossed out and disappointed.

The mortadella burrata sandwich was delicious! The pistachios were a nice touch! Amazing that this gourmet sandwich shop is in liberty public market

My husband and I were at Liberty Station and craving a healthier option so we decided to try this place. He had the Burrata & Mortadella sandwich. I had the Mediterranean Delight sandwich and we shared the Quinoa salad. All items were very fresh and tasty. The juices were good too. We will definitely be back to try more items.

Out of the Many choices of food at Liberty Market Place I chose Bistro Europa and boy am I glad I did. I had the Pastrami sandwich and it was over the top good. They do their own spin on it and you won't be disappointed. Now if they could open one in Washingto State I'd be very happy!

The Cubana sandwich is simply amazing. Perfect blend of flavors. Ordered it a few times already. Probably a good thing I dont live closer or I'd be eating it multiple times a week
