Better Buzz Coffee

Soo happy a better buzz location opened closer to this side of town! Much more convenient location to go to compared to traveling to the Hillcrest location or Fashion valley for coffee. Have been a regular better buzz customer since I was in high school and to this day this coffee is one I recommend to anyone! Especially visiting guests of San Diego! It's a SD staple and my recommendation is the iced hazelnut divinity! Very busy location! Inside is pretty small so limited seating is available. Although there is an outdoor patio to sit when it's not too hot outside from the direct sun. Parking is pretty limited as well and get blocked usually from the drive through line.

Had to try this well known coffee spot that I keep seeing everyone in San Diego post about.There was a parking lot right outside, and we were able to find a parking spot almost immediately.The inside is very aesthetic, took an obligatory "Life's Better Buzzed" photo.I ordered the iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk, and it was the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. This spot has earned a place on my list of go-to coffee shops.

I have to admit I love the coffee here. But the costumer service is not good. I had a barista give me an attitude about asking them to repeat what they said because they spoke too fast and another barista roll their eyes at me when I explained my order was not taken correctly. That I wanted a regular size coffee not a large size and asked if they could pour it into a smaller cup. It was so uncomfortable that I will never go to Better Buzz again. Starbucks always has nice, respectful workers and I have NEVER had an experience like the one I had at Better Buzz La Mesa. Wish I could say I'm the only one who has had a bad experience at Better Buzz but it seems like other people in my circles have also had similar experiences as well. Word of advice: work on your customer service.

Tried their matcha latte, horchata latte, better breakfast sandwich, and chili crunch breakfast wrap. The matcha was okay and could've used more matcha. It was pretty sweet. My bf's horchata latte was really good! We loved the breakfast sandwich and wrap but the wrap could've used more chili crunch. Also tried their paradise bar which was super good if you have a sweet tooth. And it was gluten free!

So so happy to finally have a better buzz closer to home! My favorite coffee chain and my go to drink is the honey latte or mint infused iced coffee with almond milkI tried the new chili crisp wrap and it was tooo good, perfectly seasoned and all the flavors just worked well together, I had pre ordered and my drink was ready when I arrivedThe inside is super aesthetic with searing inside as well as outside on a porch, love visiting this location!

So happy Better Buzz has finally come to the La Mesa area! :)The whole store is just beautiful inside and out! The staff is super friendly as well. You can never go wrong with the Best Drink Ever. Next time I honestly need to try the rest of the menu and they have fresh pasties to chose from also. A really cute spot to hang out and get some work done also if needed.

Better Buzz never disappoints! This new location definitely felt a little new with some hiccups but they never disappoint.The space is such a beautiful space and it's not super crowded like the other locations. This is going to be my go-to spot FOR SURE!

Yep, another Better Buzz has opened in San Diego. This location is the closest to my hood, which is nice. I had the ham and cheese croissant and what they call the best coffee ever" iced. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious, and they heated up just right, too. Just enough so all the cheese was perfectly melted. The croissant was buttery and flaky. The iced coffee was good but a little too sweet for my taste to drink often. I am a cortado lover, but they have yet to place that on the menu. Someday, I hope.Service was very upbeat and friendly. They do get kinda loud inside, so take advantage of the outside seating if you like more of a quieter ambiance like myself.

SOO HAAAAPPYYYYY that Better Buzz finally opened a location in my hooood !! The coffee here is sooo good and I'm not being biased because I used to work at the old fashion valley cart back in high school lol-- it really is one of the best coffee shops in San Diego !!I finally got around to stopping by today and it's been about a month since it first opened . The drive thru lines are still crazyyyy and parking is horrendous at the moment . Im sure it'll die down once the hype of a new coffee shop is over . I parked across the street in the neighborhood and walked on over .The Better Buzz sign is bright, glistening, and literally calls out to you to purchase coffee ! I love the outdoor patio area and the inside is super cozy . It has about 6 tables or so . I got there around 930am and there were about 4 people in line ahead of me and I waited about 10 minutes to get to the cashier . Once I ordered, I waited another 10-15 minutes to get my food and drinks . I didn't know there was an app you can place a mobile order through with a designated pick-up area--- will be doing this in the future . Here's what I ordered--BEST DRINK EVER is literally the best drink ever . It's strong, creamy, semi sweet vanilla flavored, and most of all.. delicious . I love getting this drink iced even though its 50 degrees cold outside . Always hits the spot . BETTER BREAKFAST SANDWICH was really tasty ! Bacon was thick cut, egg was cooked well (wish yolk was still runny, but hey-- beggars can't be choosers haha), pretzel bun was fluffy on the inside with a nice crisp exterior pretzel bite, and arugula gave it a nice spice . Havarti is one of my all time fav cheeses and the garlic aioli gave it a nice refreshing zing . Great sandwich, but definitely a little pricey and is a splurge . My son loved his CHEESE DANISH . It's served at room temp and at first bite was just okay . We took it home and threw it in the Airfryer and it actually was pretty good warmed up . Flakey, buttery, and the cheese middle was tasty . Tip-- You can order the drinks less sweet if you want . I haven't had an Acai bowl here, but they are one of my favs to get on a hot day . Customer service was good; my cashier thanked me for waiting and she was nice . I will for sure be back in the future again when I need my BDE cravings satisfied !

Great service and comfortable location. Went and had a chai latte and scone. The raspberry almond scone is the best!!!
