After a long commute to San Diego, my hotel room wasn't ready. Stopped in to BKB and felt better. Happy Hour started at 2pm. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and the All Fired Up Margarita special. Stephanie, the Manager hooked me up, very nice, Just what I needed. The tacos were loaded with shrimp, avocado, salsa, and cilantro. Slightly spicy and prepared perfectly with warm tortillas, really good. The Margarita was the happy hour special, not bad. I up the ante on the 2nd round with a Cadillac, Alonzo did it right, appreciate ya, excellente. No crowd, nice place, good staff. Thanks for everything

It's good.Part of the Hilton Garden Inn downtown, SD.I went 2 times. One for happy hour and the next day for breakfast.Happy hour - sat right at the bar. Drinks were $4 off. I had their version of an old fashioned. Pretty good with a nice orange peel garnish inside. Hotel food / bev credit made this very affordable. Good service.Breakfast: promptly greeted and allowed to sit wherever I wanted.Nice fresh coffee served. I ordered the power platter. It was served pretty fast with decent portions. Good service.Overall, a good place. Parking may be tough to find. They do have a value for the hotel at $10 per hour, but not clear if it's validated for restaurant patrons.Recommended

Food was good. Took longer than expected to get and also receive our refills with a non busy time. Servicer was polite. Ambiance is relaxed. Everyone were quiet, enjoying space. View typical San Diego traffic with a side of sky. Location is within walking distance of bay. 8 minute drive to Seaport. Overall, yummy food and okay experience.

The food was very good way better than I expected eating at a hotel restaurant, the staff was super nice and very attentive making sure we had a great meal. Restaurant itself is very clean with nice decor and a modern look but a good modern. Would definitely recommend and when I'm in town we will definitely be coming back for a meal!

Excellent staff pleasant morning diner, atmosphere and good food. Gets busy the longer you wait so if you're going, go first thing when they open or mid afternoon to avoid the crowd.

Very surprised for a hotel restaurant. The pesto salmon was excellent and great service too!

During each of my visits to San Diego, I consistently choose to stay at the Hilton that is connected to this restaurant. On this particular trip, my experience was truly exceptional. Everything was flawless, including the service, the quality of the food and drinks, and the contemporary and immaculate ambiance. I want to particularly highlight the outstanding performance of our servers and bartenders on August 25th and 26th. Their customer service skills are among the best I've encountered in quite some time. Tania, our server, possesses a charm that is often rare to find and she took exceptional care of us. I am committed to continuing my patronage of this establishment for future dining experiences.

Great place. Can't say enough about bartender Jason. He really added to our enjoyment of the hotel and restaurant.

We stayed in the hotel nearby this restaurant and ate 2-3 times at this restaurant. Everytime the food and service was awesome. Never too crowded. If you are around, definitely a nice place to grab a bite
