5 stars all around!! Amazing service, excellent beer, cute clean nano brewing system!! I really like the balance of styles of beer here, focusing on IPA's and other SoCal centric styles including superan style beers.. my favorite with their Belgian dark strong.. so good had to leave with a crowler!! Kudos to the owner, living his dream

First time here and I really enjoyed myself. Came here this Saturday to watch niners vs packers and it was not busy at all. I love brewery's/ bars where you kinda have the entire place to yourself . There have multiple TVs and a food truck charging ridiculous prices but that's not what this review is about. Will I be back ?!?! Hell yes!!

This was my first time here. It sediment reminds me of Wild Barrel.I tried the Cactus Cooler sour 4oz which didn't reassemble cactus cooler to me but was refreshing. I then true the cranberry citrus (I think) seltzer which tasted like it's name but it was not eye opening. My bf got the popular one which said Cow bell I believe. He had a different drink before, all in 16oz. They must have been decent since he drank both of them lol. The guy who works there is nice and very quiet. There was a food truck that was pizza-ey but we just ate so didn't order anything. However, if I saw that food truck again, I'd order the meatball pizza with white sauce. Location is not too bad and they also have trivia night on Tuesdays. If I'm in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by.

The beers here are great with a variety to choose from. The owner is nice and personable. Worth checking it out!

This is the former Circle 9 brewing location. You kinda need to know where it is or be looking for it to find it since it's not really visible from the street. Its a really cool place to drink and everyone is friendly. The beertender Kelli is really fun and welcoming. I'm happy that this place is here to serve beer.

This used to be the Circle 9 brewery pre-pandemic. We came here to see what this newer Aleworks place is all about. Kelli the beer tender was super friendly and gave us a nice intro to the menu selections. There's a trivia night every Tuesday which we might try out sometime soon. I would recommend coming here if you are in the Kearny Mesa area

My wife and I's experiences at Ataraxia are always pleasant. We usually come here while we wait for a table at Kura sushi. Alex is usually here serving us beers and he has the most friendliest attitude I've seen at a local brewery. I hope y'all get to meet him!!The location is medium sized and intimate with a nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy your beer. Usually there will be a food truck or a small food vendor posted outside in the back so you can enjoy some food with your beer.Highly recommend coming here if you have some time to spend drinking some amazing beers that are always soooo fresh off the tap. I was looking for a brewery to meet a friend and picked Ataraxia because it was in convenient halfway point. I'm not a big beer drinker but love sours and I was happy to see that there was a sour on the menu here. We grabbed a drink and sat outside on the small patio.

This brewery is great! Kelli creates such a fun and inviting atmosphere. I would recommend!

I've been going here for close to three years. This place absolutely rocks! The beer is great!Darren, Alex, and Kelli have a pure passion for what they are doing. They're also flat out nice, honest, fun people. They love to experiment with different types of beer. Their Basilisk is awesome, as well as the Cow Bell, the More Cow Bell, the Kilt Commander, the Recluse (which just came on line!) the list goes on and on. This place offers a mellow atmosphere with fun discussions. They help take the edge off a rough week at work!
