The food was good here. The staff was friendly. I would recommend anybody that wants Asian food to give this restaurant a try. The food portion was not measured. The plaza here is ghetto but the location is good for people that ride public transportation

I found 2 hairs in my good.. the first I took off and continued eating but the second one was cooking into the breading. I wish I could add a pictur. it was disgusting. I couldn't even eat after and I was so hungry! heartbreaking.

This food here was the worst Chinese food I've ever had! It was horrible. I don't know what the heck the BBQ pork was doing out. It tasted like freezer burnt BBQ. I ended up throwing all the food away as did my lady. Never again will I go there. I'll stick to Panda.

Asia Wok is always my go to place when I can't decide on food to eat. The folks working are generally friendly, but I rarely get the same person twice when I go there. There prices have nearly doubled since my early days a few years back but increasing prices is the new thing it seems since Covid. The restaurant could use some new color to brighten the place, and the table/chairs could be updated. Overall the food is good, nice selection to choose from.2022(39)

The food is not good. The tofu and mushrooms were too salty. I washed my hands after I had eaten, and the bathroom was littered in trash, graffiti all over the walls. It just had not been cleaned in hours. usually if the bathroom is dirty, the restaurant is not the cleanest. we walked by the back storage area, and there is raw chicken out in the open. I really hope I do not get food poisoning from this establishment.

Wife and I were hungry for some Chinese food, and ordered some of the fried chicken, chicken chow mein and the house egg rolls. A pretty simple order. Food was made pretty fast. Too bad the chicken tasted like it was fried with a mixture of tap water and old oil. The seasoning was off as well. And then the chow mein noodles were overcooked and the chicken was still not good. Finally I hoped the egg-roll wasn't going to be nasty , but I guess this restaurant is filled with surprises . The egg roll didn't even taste like a durn egg roll. Didn't taste like meat, vegetables or nothing. It looked brown and like it was dried and rolled up fryer grease. Everything literally has a terrible aftertaste, and I'm not only annoyed from the waste of money, but it's just the fact of wanting some simple , tasty Chinese food, and we get served food like it's an MRE for sailors.NEVER again.Huge let down, I sincerely hope anyone reading this saves their money and go elsewhere. You're better off at panda or somewhere.

Asia Wok is our go to take out for Chinese. It's so affordable and the portions sizes are out of control. It's seriously enough for two of us to eat on for a couple days. We do the pick three combo with lo mein and then add an additional side of pork fried rice. Their sushi is surprisingly pretty tasty too.

For counter service Asian food I always use Panda Express (average) as my measuring stick. Asia Wok I would consider a notch below.The portions are larger than Panda and the prices are slightly lower, but 4 of the 5 items we tried were disappointing. The Chow Mein did not have enough flavor, the orange chicken despite being fresh was also lacking flavor and was mostly breading and the cream cheese wontons might have been the worst I've had in San Diego. Spicy Chicken didn't taste like anything at all. On the other hand, the teriyaki chicken was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful and actually had a great char on it.Value was good. 2 people and enough food for 4 meals for ~$30. I doubt we would return though.
