The food here it really not good. I think they have an aversion to seasoning. 5 of us were dining and we all agreed that everything just tasted bland - from the bread to the salads to the steaks to the seafood. EVERYTHING needed flavor. 3 of us ordered steaks and we all agreed they were poor at best. My steak was almost half chewy, inedible fat. The steak itself was also VERY chewy. I ordered it medium and it was definitely medium-rare to rare. $180 for 5 people and not one of us enjoyed it. We won't be returning. There are so many other places to get a decent steak.

This is my first trip to saltgrass. I can tell you my steak perfectly seasoned and cooked to my specifications. The service was outstanding what you pay for when you go to a great steak place. The atmosphere is cool as it is set in relaxed lighting and country music playing. The people are enjoying themselves and the waiters are so courteous to make your experience amazing. I enjoyed.

Food was great, but the service was impeccable! Aimee was excellent and managed to keep track of all the requests from our chaotic seven person crew. We asked if they typically sing for birthdays, to which she said no. BUT, when she brought out our 6yo's carrot cake after dinner, she put a candle in it unprompted and joined in as we sang to her! In total, we got:-Urban Cowboy -Herbed Rice -Caesar salad-Chicken Orleans -Loaded mashed potatoes -Spinach cranberry salad-Kids sliders -Nashville Hot sandwich -BBQ Ribs & chicken -House salad with ranch-Gulf Coast Steak & shrimp-Blackened Redfish -Mac & cheese -Tortilla soup-Queso fresco with brisket-Carrot cake-Cheesecake-Pecan bread puddingEveryone thoroughly enjoyed their meals & desserts (except for the 6yo, who wasn't thrilled by her meal choice). Great family dinner to start the new year off!

My family and I visit this place several times a year to enjoy some of the best steaks and great customer service. The restaurant has a nice rustic ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. My favorites are their potato soup, baked sweet potato, the complimentary bread and the coconut shrimp. I wish they would bring back the pineapple sauce to add that extra flavor to it.I love their rewards program. It's always exciting to receive a $25 birthday gift card and year-round rewards.

We went out for my husbands birthday dinner and since we have had a positive experience at Saltgrass in Beaumont we decided to give this location a try. It did not disappoint. We sat at the bar as we often do. I realized that from our location we could really watch how well run and clean this place was. Sometimes when you are at a table you really don't understand what is going on behind the scenes. An employee was polishing wine glasses, a manager was interacting with customers and staff and the bartender intervened when she saw another staff member not garnishing a cocktail properly. She basically told her that consistency was important.I started with a very well made white cosmopolitan and my husband enjoyed an old fashioned. We both ordered the petite filets and they were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and very tender. My husband had soup and baked potato while I opted for a salad and mashed potatoes. The salad was fresh and portioned well and the potatoes were delicious. Definitely will be back.

I went to celebrate dinner with my family for my father's 65th birthday. The food was delicious: our steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. GiGi, our waitress, took amazing care of us, and brought the cake of chocolate cake out with a candle at the perfect time. It was packed, and well worth the wait!

Told we couldn't make phone reservations for Saturday at 6:30, but found others were being seated after saying they called ahead, we weren't seated for 40minutes. Then wine was spilled on one in our party; two of us were given the impression that salads came with the meal (they were not and we're over $4.49 each); another in our party had to send back an overdone steak; then we find out our bills experienced a computer glitch which took an hour or more to sort out. While the Manager expressed sorrow and apologies...many other tables around us came, ordered, ate paid and left. While our server was pleasant and helpful and did the best she could it took some time to get drink refills. All in all this was not a pleasant evening and "sorrow and apologies" were totally inadequate.

Lunch on weekdays is a steal! $17 for center cut filet, mashed potatoes, and a caesar salad! The cook and sear were excellent, but the crab cake was a bit underwhelming for $19.The pecan bread pudding was excellent!Cheers!

Terrible Experiance!A service accidentally pored a glass of wine all over me and my wife. Accidents happen and he apologized and waitress also apologized and she had nothing to do with the situation. The manger comes over and all he does is over a free desert for the inconvenience. Really?? My wife's dress is stained and ruined , my pants are soaked and runied our night and you think a $9.00 piece of cake is an equivalent exchange for a new dress and ruined night. Poor way to handle the situation. Be more concerned about your customers then your bottom line. We had not even ordered our food yet. I paid for our one drink each and appetizer and will never be back.
