This place is awesome. We don't get many date nights but when we do Salt is almost always our go to. We went early evening last night with our baby and they accommodated us/the baby very well. The young man who was serving/cooking was great. Our favorite cook we've had here. Explained everything to us but also let us conversate with one another as well. The food is amazing. We've enjoyed all the meat we've had here but the marinated Galbi keeps bringing us back. So flavorful and tender. We really enjoy this place. To management, we asked you for the bill but it was NOT because our server was inattentive at all. He was GREAT. We just realized what time it was and needed to get back to get our kids in bed.

Been wanting to try this Korean bbq spot for quite a while now and I finally got the chance to today for my birthday dinner. Restaurant has a very cool Korean bbq vibe to it with tvs and Kpop playing in the background. Very clean and spacious with many tables for seating. For food, ordered the seafood pancake, galbi soondubu, prime rib, galbi and pork for the bbq part. Seafood pancake was to die for, that was so crispy and delicious. Soondubu I was honestly disappointed in, I felt like it was lacking flavor and the galbi in the soup I wasn't a fan of...I've had better. And for the bbq portion, everything we ordered was amazing. Loved the galbi meat when that was cooked, very flavorful. Also, the sides that they give you are all very good. Server helped us cooked the meat and was very helpful. All of the drinks and food came out pretty quick. Highly recommend this spot and I'll definitely be back to this location!

This is the K-BBQ restaurant that all my friends in the area always recommend! It's a little further out for us, but when we want K-BBQ, Salt is the place we usually consider first. It's the perfect setting blend between traditional and modern BBQ styles. Food is sooooo good. I have nothing bad to say about it. The staff member who looked after us was very quick and attentive. They made our dining experience a very smooth one.My only regret is not taking pictures this last time we went. I almost always include photos with my reviews... so this is just an excuse to go again and post an updated review later! I'd 100% recommend going to Salt, whether you're new or a veteran to eating K-BBQ. Happy bbq-ing!

Came here for a late lunch on Saturday and with a group of 8. We did place a reservation but one isn't needed as they were pretty empty. We got two beef superior combos for the table and it was fantastic! This is definetly a more expensive Korean bbq place but the quality of the food and the experience is top notch. Everyone said this was the best kbbq they've ever had! Service was fantastic! They would tell us about the meat and maybe what salt/sauce paired best with it and kept refilling all the sides. This is a great place for special occasions and we will definetly be back!

I'm always on the hunt for better and more Korean food options in the PA and NJ area so when I heard about this new spot I had to make the 1 hour hike there from South JerseyAmple seating and lots of bbq tables. We started with a mojito, spicy rice cakes and some side dishes. The mojito was way too much sour mix but cute presentation. The spicy rice cakes were actually spicy and the rice cakes had a great texture! 6.75/10The side dishes were OK, the kimchi was awful. It was way too ripe and way too sour for my taste but I dug the kimchi radishThen we got the galbi and prime rib. The galbi was way better. SO tender but the quantity was ehhh but I get it it's good quality. If you're debating what meats you should get probably just stick with the galbi and then pork belly if you must. The soybean paste soup was good! I would have wanted a slightly deeper flavor but not terribile and ample seafood. The naengmyun was great! WAy too much ice though but noodles and broth were decentOverall, I had a good experience but it wasn't like the ones in Korea and Fort Lee. I needed a better kimchi, deeper flavors but the galbi was good!

Salt Korean BBQ lives up to its hype! 5 star review is well deserved! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with impeccable service and a warm atmosphere. The quality of the meat was outstanding, each bite bursting with flavor. The seafood pancake and cheese corn were absolute highlights, bursting with deliciousness - highly recommended. The soup was a perfect complement to the hearty meat dishes, soothing our palates with its rich flavors. Dessert was a delightful end to the meal, very light and sweet. The ambience of the place was dim and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend Salt Korean BBQ for an unforgettable culinary journey that truly lives up to the hype!

Came here with a group of 12 and it was great! This was our first time here and definitely not our last! We ordered a lot of food but our favorite was the Marinated galbi and the pork. The sides were also really tasty we enjoyed the kimchi radish and salad. We also enjoyed the soups, the kimchi soup was spicy and the soy bean soup was very tasty. Service was great we had a few servers help us cook the food and made sure it was made to our liking and once cooked they moved it to a bowl so the meat did not over cook.Parking was just okay, the close parking spots had a 2 hr limit and it's just a little walk to the other parking spots.

2nd time here. Gave it another try. We would recommend the lunch specials because they are reasonable and give decent enough portions with lots of side dishes. The meat is tasty. I would only suggest that they don't cut up the Galbi pieces into little chunks since that is not how Korean people eat them. Better to serve authentic style in normal rib slices.

Terrible wait times. Was there around an hour and our waiter checked on us once. I suppose they only pay attention to the kbbq diners because they have staff at their table which is a stark contrast. Would consider going back for the kbbq experience but not if you are interested in other Korean food. Salt was good but not worth it

I wish I had an enjoyable experience at Salt. The sides were salty. We ordered the American wagyu and the marinated galbi. The wagyu was chewy, but I'm not surprised since American wagyu is significantly lower meat quality than Japanese wagyu. For it to be their more expensive cuts of meat, I don't think it's worth it. The marinated galbi meat quality was a lot better, tender, and flavorful. I will say that it was so flavorful to the point I'd say it was on the brink of salty. Your server cooks for you, and my server did a wonderful job grilling our meat. The salmon sashimi salad was amazing. Fresh cuts of thinly sliced salmon served with lettuce and korean pears. This was the best dish here. We ordered the rose tteokbokki for my little sister. The rice cakes were cooked fine, but the tteokbokki sauce was very mild and lacked in flavor (funny enough). The mul naengmyeon really sent me over the edge. The broth tasted like salt mixed in water. I guess the server overheard me talking about it and told me it's because their version of cold noodle is similar to North Koreas. She suggested adding the mustard and vinegar (which I did already) and she ended up pouring the rest of the vinegar into the broth for me to try. No difference, but thanks anyways? Nonetheless, not good and did not eat any more of it. ($18) I understand that the restaurants name is Salt, but I think it's living up to its name a bit too much. Will not be coming back/recommending to anyone.
