Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place already. We live close to here and have tried pretty much every pizza place in the city (except one that we're still trying to get a reservation for). Anyway- Stella is SO GOOD!!!! Going to be hard to beat this one. Second time strolling in as we were walking around the neighborhood. If you like potato leek soup (or potatoes and leeks in general!) get the potato leek pizza. Since I've eaten it, I can't wait to go back for it again. The best part about the pizza, however, is that it is made with sourdough. Not sourdough made with yeast- this is sourdough pizza dough made with starter!! If you know, you know. We asked the chef. Just fabulous. Not easy to find!!We sat at the bar and the bartender was super cool. The mocktail with honeydew shrub (melon shrub?? Some kind of shrub!) is fabulous. So refreshing. You can see it in my pic. My boyfriend wanted a salad but doesn't like kale so ordered the other salad. I believe it was the simple green salad but it was so delicious with a super tasty and light dressing. You can taste the REAL olive oil. Another plus in our book. If you love pizza and QUALITY ingredients, go here!!! They put love into it.Oh, and you can also purchase bottles of wine from them- there is a cute little wine shop attached with some very cool selections. Enjoy!

This is a sweet spot. It's buzzing with a really nice set up outside and a (smallish) but buzzing set up inside as well. The cocktails were boozy and delicious and the soppressata pizza was so good! Nice charred chewy crust with a delicious red sauce. We also had a green salad and the dill added was perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken meatballs as I found them to be dry but everything else was spot on! Location, ambiance, a great server and very well made cocktails! A really good night!

We found Sally on a Sunday walking around Phila. We ordered from the brunch menu. Split a pizza and big breakfast. Excellent. It was so good. Great service and spectacular food. Love the vibe!

Sally's food was very good! We got a couple apps, a salad, and a pizza. All were prepared perfect! The naturals wines were quite good as well. Our only qualm is that the servers, barring one male server (who was lovely), were very condescending. The overall feeling was that they were annoyed that we were there. 6:00 pm reservation on a Friday. We were nothing but polite, respectful and kind. Great food, but not sure we can go back considering the service. I gave 3 stars because of service, but the food was easily 4.3+ stars :)One more note, our waiter was so off-putting and judgy that we feel a bit nervous about eating the leftovers he boxed that we brought home :/

Definitely recommend this place! I have tried a bunch of pizza places in the city and always walked by Sally without really thinking of stopping, I'm so glad I did! The homemade dough and bread were so fresh and delicious, I'm still thinking about them days later.For appetizers we tired the house ricotta and the roasted pears. The house ricotta was not what I was expecting, it was a cold dish with a delicious savory balsamic-y pistachio sauce with warm sourdough bread. If the bread was for sale, I would have bought some to bring home. The dish was a bit much for two people, but for the price I guess it was worth it. I would have preferred a smaller portion, since I think it was so much to justify the hefty price tag. The pear dish was fantastic. It was sweet and savory and salty and had unami notes, just a dream of a dish. Lastly, pizza was great. It came out perfectly heated with fresh ingredients, definitely a meal to remember. Service was friendly and efficient. They had great outdoor seating with heated booths. Looking forward to my next meal here!

Sally is a great and intimate date spot for wine and pizza lovers alike. A cozy atmosphere serving up pizza (nice char) and other small bites. Easy to get a reservation on Resy. We got on the day of. Music selection was immaculate. Had to give compliments to whoever's playlist I was getting lost in. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the sardines which I tried for the first time here. Now I'm craving them all the time. As mentioned, the pizza is good and has a nice char that adds a crisp crunch. Only tried the cheese pizza on visit so I'll need to come back to try some of the other options. The crew ran through a couple bottles of wine. A little pricey but you can't put a price on a good time. Servers were awesome and really enjoyed chatting with them.

Great dinner at Sally this week! We were seated right away for a 7pm reservation. I wish the wine list was a bit more robust (especially the white wine - only 2 available on the menu), but the glass I got was really good! We started the meal with Cesar salad (with kale and brussel sprouts) which was delicious. It was really fresh and a perfect start to the meal. We then ordered the regular Red Pie, and did the add-on stracciatella cheese. I love fresh mozzarella and this pizza did not disappoint. Overall I left the meal full and happy! I will definitely be returning soon to try another pizza.

Sally always knows. It just knows. It's always great. The staff is amazing and kind. The food is perfection. The drinks are fresh. The vibes are perfectly chill.

AMAZING place! Employees were all super nice, atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic! Got the salad, meatballs, ricotta, and a couple of pizzas, and all were great! Highly recommend!
