Craving something light and refreshing for lunch, so I stopped in for a build your own salad. There are so many fresh toppings and protein options. I got so many toppings I almost forgot I had lettuce. I always go with the shrimp and avocado. Those cost extra, but they're worth it. I don't have the rewards program, but Eddie checked me out and let me know all the benefits, and he made the checkout seamless. I was in a time crunch this visit, but next time, I hope to enjoy the patio, weather permitting.

I love coming to Salata at Mason Rd it's always the best experience and fresh food! The team does a great job with exceptional customer service! They just remodeled the restaurant for a brand new feel it looks amazing!

Worse location. If you get the same exact salad everyday they will still charge you different prices everyday based on who you are and which employee is on the register. Yadira is always rude, not friendly and roll her eyes frequently. She seems angry. None of the employees say "thank you" or "have a nice day" or "Enjoy you meal." This location obviously need better management. Poor customer service.

Nice and clean dining area with a few walk thrus to keep it clean! I like that! The servers behind the counter were quick and efficient without making me feel pressured or rushed. The food was great. Later I noticed the employees behind the counter dropped from 5 to 4. A line was created. Timed them - the seventh person on line waited 7 minutes to start her order. The gentleman cleaning earlier joined the serving crew - I'm sure he washed up, he didn't go from cleaning directly to serve! And he happened to be the friendliest of all! Definitely will come back. Price is right, food again was great! Four not five stars only because you know it'll be busy at the lunch hours, got to have five employees behind the counter!

Fresh and delicious! I had grilled chicken and smoked Turkey on a variety of lettuces with lots of fresh veggies. Everything was perfect. Service was fast and the restaurant was clean.

This was the first time I tried this place. I love the concept of going down the line and custom make your food. I ended up with a big salad for $10 because I didn't add any protein. I will be back. The reason for lower stars is because of the service, employees were not very enthusiastic when providing service, it's like they will do the minimum, hardly smiling or speaking more pleasant. Also, when adding the veggies and fruits to the bowl, why are they not using tongs or the little ladles half of the time? They used their gloved hand to grab and scoop! Isn't that cross contamination? Used the same glove to grab and scoop different food items! Thank goodness I'm not allergic to any food but I'm sure there are many people who have allergies that won't appreciate that.

Nothing like takeout with fresh greens and a refreshing lemonade on a warm Spring day!!!! This was my 1st time visiting this location. Salata is definitely a great place to get a wide selection of salads, toppings, and refreshing teas/lemonade. This location had great service and a peaceful atmosphere that was definitely needed after a busy morning. The parking was excellent and the location was very accessible / visible to the freeway which made it easy to locate. If you are in Katy and you are looking for refreshing/clean eats stop by this location and enjoy!!!

Usually I don't care for this location, but this location still has smoked turkey whereas the other I frequent does not. Service was as expected. No issues!! They do a great job of keeping the tables clear of previous diners!!

And five years later here I am reporting the same issue and review at this salata location on mason rd in katy. It's only this location that has a visible issue with my severe nut allergy. New employees not being trained appropriately, that when someone with a nut allergy orders their food they must change gloves and 1 person does their whole order to prevent cross contamination. Employees are still not educated on the severity of nut allergies so I won't be coming to this location anymore. It's truly alarming to feel turned away by an allergy I have no control over. The whole line comes to a complete halt instead of having one person finish my order, so then there's a line of upset customers also being rude to me. It's so unprofessional and unorganized.

Everyone here is so friendly and hard working. They have navigated the last few years with grace and kindness. They stayed open during COVID lockdowns when you could only get online pick up. ow they are so busy and help many customers every day. i highly recommend this restaurant if you want a healthy alternative to burgers and sandwiches.
