Salad and Go

Wow!! I am so impressed by Salad and Go! I had seen this store pop up a little while ago, and I always drove past and wrote it off as a new gimmick that will eventually close. It does, after all, look a bit out of place in the Rice Village landscape. However, I tried it this past weekend and loved it! They have a fairly small menu, but it's enough for everyone to find something they like without being overwhelmed by choices. Also, you can choose to make any dish a salad or wrap. I tried the Jalapeño Ranch Salad and thought it was great. It was refreshing, flavorful, and just the perfect amount of food for lunch.The best thing about this place, though, is the price! Just $7 for a full lunch. And the drinks (which are huge) are only $1.50. It is such an amazing deal. The service was also very quick and friendly.I definitely recommend stopping by! (And just keep in mind, there is no indoor seating, it is 100% drive through.)

Healthy drive thru option! Second time trying their salads. Quick, fresh, nice portion, great price. My go to is the Cesar salad. Tried their blueberry basil lemonade that I've heard a lot about however it tasted watery. Maybe just a bad batch can't wait to try some other things in the menu.

Service was awesome and they are very confident in their product! The ambiance is very vibrant and the salads are amazing!! I ordered the chicken pot pie soup and it was suprisingly really good!

I recently placed a lunch order online for pickup at the window, and it was ready on time! No complaints. Decent sized portion for lunch, and my salad was fresh and tasty. I got the Thai peanut salad with tofu as my protein. It came with a drink for $8.65. Great affordable option near the Rice campus!

I got the autumn salad and it was super easy to order it through the app and pick it up through drive through. The service is fast and you're in and out within 5 minutes. I like that the sauce comes on the side so you can control the amount. The lid leaves room for you to shake the salad up. I wasn't a particular fan of the parmesan, but I would just sub it out next time. The app makes it easy to sub out ingredients. For $7, I thought it was great and will for sure be back. They have dun drinks to try and we tried the cucumber mint Arnold Palmer. It seems like they squeeze it fresh since there was some pulp. It was only $1.50 and I am excited to try the other drinks!This place is only drive through with one walk up order window. No where to sit

Before my sister-in-law treated me to one of these gold mines, I was unaware of their existence. Wow. Deeeee-lish.Completely obsessed. Since a month ago, I have been coming back every other day. I mean, WHERE can you beat a $6 salad WITH chicken??? Exactly. I'll wait.My order consisted of a Cobb salad without cheese and a cucumber lemonade. The Cucumber lemonade is not at all sweet, so if you prefer heavily sweetened beverages, this is not for you. In my opinion, it tastes very...healthy. Lol.It would be reasonable to believe that they would be small, but no! The bowl is extremely filling and keeps you satisfied for several hours. The chicken is tender and I was so impressed (this was my first time ordering) that I ordered ANOTHER one for dinner that evening.They offer a tofu or chicken option that is automatically included in the price. If you want steak, it is about $2 extra, so I added it. Yum yum yum. Protein overload.After a vigorous workout, I needed something like this. It would be great if more of these opened up as there are only two or three in Houston, and they are all over half an hour away from where I live. We need one in MO City, Sugarland, Cypress... we need these popping up like McDonald's everywhere. Due to the fact that the buildings are extremely small, it presumably has low overhead. It is purposefully designed to only be large enough to conceal the salad fixings and a few employees. There is a reason why it is called salad and go!Build more!!! I loooove.

For a healthy, quick, and affordable option I would recommend this place. It is new to the area and I had seen it driving to work. I had decided to make my own saad bowl using their website. It's easy enough, they have lots of options and for my meal for being right around $7 with tax, you can't beat that. I opted for a mixed green salad with sweet potato, brussels sprouts (they were kinda mushy) but not terrible, corn, red cabbage, and picked onions with jalapeño ranch. It was great. I was able to pick it up within 6 minutes. The service was friendly and fast too. I like how they have ample space between the lid and the bowl so your able to shake up and mix your salad with dressing.

Salad and Go is a gem for quick and healthy meals! It has become my go-to for when I'm too lazy or busy to cook. Every time I've gone, my food has been ready extremely quickly, and has been fresh and delicious. Their Roasted Autumn Salad with tofu is amazing and absolutely packed with toppings - I am constantly craving it. I recently tried their new Steak Fajita Salad and was very pleased with it as well. While I've only had their salads, my boyfriend has tried a number of their wraps and is a huge fan as well. The portions are a great size for both of us, and the prices are amazing (especially for broke college kids). I definitely want to try more stuff there in the future, particularly their breakfast items.

I'd wanted to try Salad and Go for some time. I didn't know much about it other than that they offered salad products to go, with a competitive price point.I was pretty wowed. I'm not sure what else they could be doing. My custom wrap was $6.79 and featured greens, my favorite veggies, and the guilty pleasures of blue cheese and bacon bits. You can really go in a healthy direction here or take some liberties if you please. The portion size was gigantic! We're taking Chipotle burrito-sized wrap.I also tried the frozen strawberry lemonade. It was a really great drink - not excessively sweet, with no shortage of strawberries and a very full 24 oz cup. Also, I think it was $1.50, which was pretty much impossible to beat.The take-out experience is pretty low frills but it gets the job done. Order on their website, then drop by their pickup window.Will definitely stop by again soon. Just wish there was one a little closer to my house.

Amazing salad, I got the Caesar sub buffalo chicken. Friendly employee, cheap prices.
