The most valuable thing in our lives is time, we have a limited amount of it, I get one hour for lunch and when you go somewhere for lunch within an hour time is important. I sat at the bar with a glass of water and a menu for 15 minutes with no one to take my order, although I will not be returning I feel I should let the business owner know he or she is loosing money and customers needlessly. Had to eat McDonald's yuck!!

Wonderful Habachi and great vibe. Fresh sushi. Fun off the kids! Especially if you sit on the left side of restaurant hibachi side. Lots of birthdays here with a very loud drum if you do the birthday here! One kid loves the drum, but another is too sensitive for the loud sounds! Best place for a bday dinner. FoodMy favorite roll is the scorpion roll. My favorite sauce is the Fried jalapeño, best spicy ponzu in the woodlands hands down. Himachi jalapeño is great! You can add a fried rice to a hibachi dish and share one chicken, shrimp, steak or combo hibachi order. Love the both onion soup and house salad that comes with the hibachi. I prefer the hibachi over the bento box because the fried rice is yummy! Sushi is fresh.

After being seated immediately upon arrival, we waited 10 minutes for a waiter to arrive for our drink and food order. No one ever arrived. There may have been 3 other tables being served so it wasn't busy.We decided to get up and find another date spot. Now we'll find another sushi spot.

By far the worst sushi I have ever had. It was pretty. But how can you say a roll has Alaskan King Crab and use an imitation crab stick? The Yellow Tail appetizer we ordered was brown, which is unappealing. The "crunch" on my roll was soggy stale panko. Spicy ponzu sauce was sweet, not spicy. My husband's roll was swimming in mayo, all he could taste was the "spicy" mayo that was sickeningly sweet.The ambiance was great. They had a lovely woman singing softly some romantic music and that was great. But the food left a lot to be desired. The service was ok.

I found out about this place on Open Table. I wanted to try something different with my husband. We had their Valentine's Day dinner. It included your choice of appetizer, soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert.We had the pepper tuna sashimi appetizer along with the stuffed avocado appetizer. They both were fantastic. We had their salad and soup. The salad had a dressing that I couldn't put a finger on, but it was great! The soup was delicious as well. For our entrées, we had the hibachi surf and turf and the hibachi seafood combination. So much food that we had to take it to go!!!Our server, Quintin, was excellent!!! He came over at just the right time all night. Drinks were filled, plates were cleared, and his positive energy was exactly what we needed!!There was only us and another couple there. That made the night great. I definitely am happy I found this place. The vibe was great. The music was at the perfect volume so that you can enjoy a conversation without yelling. We will be back!!

My twin-sister and I have been meetings for Friday lunch at Sakekawa every single week for years now so a few years ago we signed up for their "Loyalty card." Supposed to get $10 off for every $100 you spend ( and sushi isn't cheap). But the past (6) weeks they haven't 'honored' their card. I've spent more than $350 and every week they say " you don't have enough points for the $10 credit. Today, the manager said they use a system called "Aloha" and there was nothing she can do to override the system and credit the loyalty reward. What? I have my receipt from last week that clearly shows I spent $79.13 not including tip? So do the math. Today I spent another $54.56... that my friends is way over the $100 requirement.

Agree with recent negative reviews, owner needs to do something about wait staff. The food is good, the service is terrible, The hibachi area floor is super greasy and is an accident waiting to happen
