Saigon Eats

FINALLY! A knock-your-socks-off Vietnamese spot in MontCo!!It's been a while since I searched for good pho nearby; previous searches came up bust. But today? Today, I am sick and today, I was going to have pho, by gum. Now, I *found* Saigon Eats only by chance. Yelp didn't share the listing when I searched for pho. Neither did UberEats, DoorDash, or GrubHub. I never tap on sponsored posts, but my soup needs this evening were visceral and specific, so I took a chance. SCORE! I have a bowl of piping hot pho, its heat and spices helping to clear my sinuses and lungs, and I am content. Now, the pho is magnificent. The broth is absolutely delicious, the Thai basil and veggies are beautifully crisp and fresh. And the care that goes into preparing this meal for home delivery was A+. Every component packed separately so it's just as fresh as it would be in the restaurant. As if this were not enough, my dashing partner and I got other stuff, too! (1) Shrimp summer rolls. SO GOOD. And the peanut dipping sauce that you dunk them in is so tasty I could eat with a spoon. (2) Egg rolls! The guy's favorite, he said they were fantastic. (3) Fried fish balls. So, the jury is still out on these. The flavor is awesome. The Thai chile sauce they come with is GREAT. Lovely heat there. But the texture of the fish balls is... odd. Not BAD, just... odd. (4) Lemongrass Banh Mi. This was the guy's entree. Based on the moaning and delighted cries of "Holy $***, is this good!" just to my right, well, I think we can assume it was a hit (he couldn't stop raving about the quality of the bread, btw). I am so excited! This is just what I wanted and needed, and now we have a terrific new spot on "the short list."

For the genre they are in, they aced it! Probably the best pho in the area. The soup base tastes great--nothing chemical or makes you extra thirsty afterwards. Saigon Eats offers an in-between dining experience, better service than a fast food place, but not completely a restaurant per se. The staff are very friendly. My only reservation is: For Beef Pho when you pick 2, there seems a $1 surcharge if you chose brisket and rare fillet mignon, of which I don't see any explanation anywhere.

DELICIOUS!!!!! I ordered a grilled shrimp rice bowl with red and white sauce, as well as fish sauce on the side. It was unbelievably fresh and bursting of flavor. Staff was nice. Highly recommend.

I've been to Saigon eat twice now and plan to go back today! The food is fresh and delicious. I think they will be very successful. The location is near Spencer's. Not in the food court, but on the second floor. So far everything I've tried has been top-notch

Another amazing trip to Saigon Eats the other day! I couldn't NOT leave another review for this incredible pho place. The soup is so flavorful and rich, I feel like I will definitely become a regular here. I also tried the Calm Down Perk Up which is matcha and espresso together and it was very tasty! Kind and quick staff as well!

Nice place and cozy and the people are nice and friendly and the food are delicious! We all went home happy tummy. Thank you!

Finally a yummy Vietnamese restaurant at the heart of KOP! Great location, and I enjoyed the food. I like the quick service. Clean and nice ambiance.

Great place to get your pho fix in the mall. Bun Bo Hue and rice w/ pork bowl were excellent too.

Second time here with the wife. It was super crowded and the cashier seemed overwhelmed and made our food to go instead of dine in. The manager immediately fixed it for here. The Pho here is the best in the area. Has mad flavor and doesn't need anything added to it. It's annoying cause families would come in and hog tables and not eat like they own the place. They should make so you have to order to sit. But the vibe is cool. Would recommend.

Ordered on-line takeout- my book club ordered 3 different vermicelli bowls and all were excellent. The delivery was a few minutes late, but they texted eta and were responsive with their communication. Will definitely order again.
