Saigon Basil

The Vietnamese coffee is soooo good! I love Vietnamese coffee and try it at a lot of places. Saigon Basil was so good that I keep thinking about coming back for more! The portions are huge and the place is busy with people...a good sign. We got:Deep fried egg rolls appetizer. It comes with noodles and a place of vegetables to eat it with. It was awesome! Loved it.Seafood hot pot in a tangy sweet and sour soup. This was really good too. They bring out a burner and the soup is boiling in front of you. I like the experience of having a hot boiling soup at the table and eating from it. They gave so much squid for this dish.Rice dish with combo meat. Tasty and a huge portion. We could not finish and took half to go.#1 Vietnamese coffee (get it!)

AS YOU READ OTHER BAD REVIEW, IT IS 100% TRUE!!I GOT HASSLED ON TIP BY OLD HEAVY SET WAITRESS!!!When I was about to write a tip amount after swiped the credit card, they told me that 20% is standard before i even had a chance to write a tip.I changed my 20% tip to 12% for getting PRESSURED TO PAY 20%.I WENT HERE FOR PAST 12+ YEARS, AND I WON'T BE BACK!!1. Crappy service.2. Pressure customers to pay more tip on front of my face!3. Crappy attitude from servers!

I love this place for pho and decided to venture out and try something new from the restaurant. I am so glad I did; everything was amazing! For appetizers, we got crab cheese wontons and fried shrimp, both of which were delicious. We ordered sesame chicken, which was crispy and juicy. The beef broccoli had amazing flavor and plenty of meat. The chicken fried rice is the best I've had in a long time.I ordered this all to-go! Everything was hot and ready in 25 minutes. There were two large bags, and the kind owner offered to help me with them. I 100% recommend this restaurant.

My son flew in for a wedding and we all went to lunch here to spend some time with him before he went about his busy weekend. We had a table of 12. The service was great and the place is big enough to accommodate. The place is nice. As promised, I took a picture of the egg roll vermicelli bowl. We had so many dishes that we also shared too. Everything tasted fantastic. Thanks for a great meal. Come check this place out on this side of town.

We went there on a Thursday night and there was a good amount of people. The place is much bigger and nicer than I thought. They have a huge selection. We ordered the soft shell crab, the fish special, the chicken with spring rolls to wrap. They have huge portions, literally overflowing from the plate. Everything was very tasty. I don't usually like breaded dishes but the breading on the soft shell crab was very light and a little crispy which was good. Prices were good considering the amount of tasty food. Service was really good and they were very attentive and the food came out fast. Very good food!

Came here after a super late night of drinking for some hot soupy pho. Definitely hit the spot and was pretty good. I got the medium size and it was a pretty big bowl. They have an xl size as an option as well if you're feeling super hungry and a small as well. Got spring rolls and egg rolls as appetizers. Never seen a place put noodles with the egg rolls, so it was pretty cool to see cause that could've been a meal itself. Service was good and fast. Very specious in there so they can get you in quick which is always a plus.

Great food n service always !!!Been to many Vietnamese places and this is hands down the best authentic Vietnamese food :)

Pricey but not disappointed! Food was actually good and authentic! Service was fast and we were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and seated directly. We ordered shortly after being seated. I did notice that others that arrived after we did received their food before we did but everything still came out fast so I didn't bring it up. We couldn't finish everything because there was plenty to share!

I'm loving the food. Very tasteful and IMO cooked very well. Restrauant is clean and has a good decor staff friendly and helpful. Here for lunch and selected food from the Lunch Menu.Recommended

We loved Saigon basil not our first time here and won't be our last I had ordered an appetizer think it was a #75 sadly no picture we devoured it, it had eggs rolls with lettuce, mint, basil, noodles, peanuts, cucumber, we normally wrap them like lettuce wraps not sure if that is how you eat them but they are delicious. I also ordered the beef bowl, my grandma ordered a shrimp low main pictures below we enjoy this spot we will return, FYI sodas are in cans so you do have to pay for refills . Safe is always friendly establishment is clean. Quick service normally. Keep up the great work
