** CLOSED DUE TO FIRE DAMAGE NEXT DOOR ** I don't want to give a negative review, so just adding this here. They were closed on a Sunday night and had a sign on the window mentioning their closure until further notice due to damage from the restaurant next door that took place from arson earlier in the week. I actually heard about the damage on the news, both there, as well as the sports bar a few doors down in the strip center. Anyway, I'd recommend calling before going by to see if they've reopened.

Update January 2024:ANOTHER amazing and YUMMY experience here! Their food is so so so darn good! Service is fast, friendly, and efficient, and prices are reasonable for the portions! Atmosphere is relaxed and just overall enjoyable. We had Mayar (spelling) and she was very nice.

Solid Mediterranean restaurant with nice ambiance.Food is very good and decently priced. Our friends have been going here for over 10 years and yes portions are less and prices higher...oh well.Good service.Three of us got the Sahara plate and it has a little of everything and all was great. It pairs well with their warm pita bread. The chicken kabob plate looked delish as well. Will def come back.

Ok, I really wanted to like this place. The ambiance is very nice, clean and good customer service. But the food was OK. Nothing exceptional. I got the Sahara plate from the dinner menu and I got a one tiny piece of chicken and when I asked if this was normal, they said yes. Hmm, not fan as they filled the plate with mostly salad and hummus. No plans of going to there again as food was unsatisfactory

Really lovely place with nice decorations and we sat at one of the intricately carved wooden tables with a glass top. Beautiful. No tangible menu given as we were instructed to scan the QR code on the table. My elderly parents really hate this because they are from a different era where having a menu to hold is much preferred. Our server Jeremiah was a nice young man but didn't seem to know the menu very well or make suggestions. Our appetizer of stuffed grape leaves with tzatziki were warm, fresh and delicious but they were rather small. The hummus was tasty and super smooth, almost too smooth. Not enough garlic in my opinion! I asked him how many portions of spinach Sambousak came in an order, and I was told only five. Well, there were six of us, so I asked if they could add one more and the server told me no, we had to get two orders. My husband clarified and requested that we get one additional portion to our order if we paid a couple bucks more and finally the server had an Epiphany and said he thought he could do that. It just seemed difficult to ask for anything that wasn't perfectly sorted out on the menu.I ordered the Greek salad and it was excellent with an incredibly delicious dressing. Our server brought my daughter the incorrect salad as she wanted tabouleh but she was brought fattouch instead. She thought it was tasty but halfway through I said there was no bulgur or parsley in it!! What a shame. We were getting very annoyed at this point. We asked for soup but we never got a good answer of it being available. Our entrees came out and honestly they were 50/50 good and bad! Every dish was served with a heap of saffron rice and little cups of watered down tzatziki sauce. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken Shawarma. The rice was not very hot and most all the meats were wayyyyy overcooked. My mom asked for her lamb to be cooked medium and it came out well done!! It was like shoe leather tough!! She sent it back but our server returned saying the chef told him that the lamb is the way it is regardless. WHAT?!! Both my husband and I had gyros which were tasty but overcooked crispy fried pieces of thinly sliced ground meat. Nothing like true gyros. My order was the Brochette with several of their meats. The chicken kebab was also overcooked but a little more tender than the burnt beef kebab because THAT was like jerky. The kafta looked like little turds on my plate but were the most tender item there. Their falafel were wonderful as my son shared a bite of his. So like I said, it's 50/50. I chose to also take a star away for the poor service, unfortunately.

Im going to give this rating a 3 based on a few things. As we know, being short staffed is a thing. I was very impressed how the servers handled the entire restaurant and tried their best to deliver service.Ambience was great! Very middle eastern themed but a very clean restaurant. The tables had really cool designs. There's enough room to host large groups. The food. I've had a lot of Middle Eastern food and the flavor profile was accurate. The spicy chicken wasn't as spicy as I would have liked it to be. In my opinion the spice level was below crushed red pepper. The beef was cooked well. The seasoning was a little heavy on the salt. The rice was kind clumpy and had a little too much oil. I did enjoy the hummus. The garlic paste/sauce was very good! Overall, it's a nice place to eat but needs a little more detail. I understand the staff shortage and they did their best!

Sahara is the BEST Mediterranean food in the Denver Tech Center hands down. I have been eating there for almost their entire life span and I love the vibe of the restaurant.Lubna's Spicy Chicken is my all time favorite but honestly, everything on the menu is great. And as a bonus she makes an iced drink with lemonade and a splash of Sprite that is D-lish and safe for work. I will be back as soon as they re-open
