Delicious! We were in MB for two nights prior to a cruise and we were looking for quality, reasonably priced fare. Sargon did not disappoint.Service was great, as well.

One of best gyros I've ever had! I had actually been here many years ago and didn't realize it until I walked in. Food came out fast and I used the yelp coupon for a Turkish tea (that was very good and unique tasting) but it is a place I have eaten at when I go to south beach because it's amazing and a good price for the amount of food you get! Really recommend!

Great surprise since we did not know there were seats in the back since it looked like a takeout place. Shared the meze sampler platter, was delicious. Kids tried the chicken kebab and chicken wrap and enjoyed it too!

Safron is a standout Mediterranean gem by the beach, quickly becoming one of my favorite Mediterranean places. The food is consistently seasoned to perfection, with the succulent lamb chops being a personal highlight. Their pita offerings are equally impressive, whether you opt for the beef, lamb shish, or chicken--each one is juicy and bursting with flavor. The freshly baked bread is delightfully fluffy, adding an extra touch of comfort to the meal. It has a small size, but still manages to offer both cozy indoor seating and pleasant outdoor options. The ambiance, combined with the consistently excellent food, makes Safron a must-visit for Mediterranean cuisine lovers.

Our waitress NAZAN is fantastic some pictures up there will have no food left on the plate because we said this is good and then said oh shit we forgot to take a picture. We drive across alligator alley a few times a year to eat here because it's satisfies our soul yes they're all places on the West Coast of Florida that have decent food but they do not compare to this restaurant. NAZAN hi this is Eddie and Patty. I told you I'd write this review. It was great seeing you and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Feb 2024. Visiting from Vegas. This spot is legit. Had the lamb kabob plate with fries/salad/warm pita bread. The lamb was perfectly medium and juicy with no gamy taste at all. Tender and juicy and flavorful! The tahini matched perfectly with the lamb. Pita bread was also very good. Fresh soft and not overly bready. First time here and will definitely be back when in Miami. Service was awesome warm and friendly. Ambiance is hole in the wall but w full service! Eat on the outdoor sidewalk seating and enjoyed the beautiful evening weather in South Beach. Hidden gem!!!

I stopped in with a friend for a more casual meal after days of dining at fancier restaurants. This is a small family-owned spot that serves entirely halal meat. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday night on Miami Beach; we were sat immediately. The menu has the standard variety of choices you'd find at most other Turkish restaurants. We each ordered our own entree as well as a Cigar Rolls (fried cheese rolls) appetizer to share. All of the food came out very quickly. The Cigar Rolls were cooked perfectly but could've had a little more flavor. My Lamb Shish Kebab Platter was delicious. The lamb pieces were flavorful and moist. The fries I requested in place of the rice were crispy and salted perfectly. I still got to try the rice by sampling from my friend's platter; I'd rank it highly compared to what I've tried elsewhere. The mixed salad was simple and accompanied the meal very well. The veggies were clearly very crisp and fresh. The server consistently checked on us throughout the meal. My friend and I really enjoyed our meal here. It says a lot about the food, as both of us dine at new Turkish restaurants regularly. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable meal on Miami Beach.

I'm weary leaving a good review here because I don't want it to become too popular and change! It's a bit of a 'hole in the wall' place next to Twist, but the food makes it so much more than that. The falafel here is always fried fresh to order and I would argue the best in Miami. The pita is soft and grilled fresh to order. The lentil soup and pilaf are top notch. Above all, they make my favorite baklava in Miami. Service is great at the table or ordering out and I've never had an issue in the last 6 years of ordering takeout or dining in.

An unassuming little restaurant with great food! During my visit to Miami, I asked my boyfriend what he wanted for dinner tonight. We decided on Mediterranean. While searching Doordash, I came across Safron and placed a pickup order. I ordered hummus, stuffed grape leaves, fries, Greek salad, and x3 falafel sandwiches. After placing my order, I immediately called the restaurant to see if they could put spicy/hot sauce in the bag. We made it to the restaurant and parked in front in a non-parking spot. My boyfriend waited in the car while I ran in. I came up to the counter and was met with friendliness. Not only did they remember to put the spicy sauce (it's a chili paste) in the bag, the lovely lady at the register told me, unprompted as I retrieved my bag, that the spicy sauces were in there. The falafel sandwich was jam packed with flavor and was very filling, the hummus was a delicious classic, the stuffed grape leaves were super tasty both with and without the tzatziki sauce, the fries while a little mushy after transit still hit the spot, and the Greek Salad was refreshing and satisfying. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and look forward to trying more dishes from here! Thank you!!
