Saffron Indian Cuisine

Hands down some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted!!! The restaurant ambience is super chill and very clean. The service prompt, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and relaxed. Very easy ordering experience and the food was made fresh and delicious!Chicken Tikka Kabob Platter was totally 5 stars. Very filling and not expensive.

A really solid choice for Indian food in Cary.I went here in the late afternoon, so it was really quiet but it's probably a nice, vibe at night when there are more people. I had butter chicken and naan. I thought the naan was a little over-priced for one serving, but the quality was good.

My favorite spot in the area for dinner! Service is great, and the folks running the place are incredibly kind. I love the lighting and ambience of the place, and thier selection is bomb! I usually get takeout, which is always packaged perfectly, but have also enjoyed eating in the restaurant. Can't wait to be back!

Saffron Indian Cuisine is in that Walmart/Harris Teeter Shopping Center on Tryon. You wouldn't expect this place to house so much great food, but it does.The biggest highlight of Saffron is the food. I ordered lamb vindaloo and a side of garlic naan. The curry was cooked perfectly. I can't tell you the amount of times I've had a curry that was starting to separate. The flavors were all there. Spice wasn't quite as high as I liked/ordered, but that's not a problem.Service was a real problem. During my meal, the staff had family/friends/maybe a VIP in an area. Even if this is a VIP, it was a small party. You need no more than one sever there. Unfortunately, the entire staff was hanging out at that table and neglecting the rest of the customers. I wanted more rice and I was prepared to pay for more rice. I didn't get the opportunity to order more rice.I came back again for lunch because the express lunch looked interesting. Choose a protein [or make it vegetarian] and a spiciness level. You get a nice, light tasting menu. It's honestly close to a perfect lunch. This was another thing that Saffron executed perfectly. Service was fine during my lunch.There are so many great Indian places in RTP. As much as I liked the food at Saffron, I'm taking this all the way down to 3 stars because I'm sick of getting terrible service at restaurants.

We came here on Saturday hoping to have lunch but was told Fri-Sun is dinner menu only :( Very disappointed since I was not able to see that information on their website! Ended up ordering off of their dinner menu. Food was really delicious-ingredients are fresh, everything had the proper texture, 10/10. I loved the lamb pepper fry (appetizer), it was pricey but the portion was pretty big. Service people were friendly and efficient. Place is clean and spacious. Will come back to try the lunch menu!

Saffron is a great place to eat if you are in the south Cary or Apex area. We always love coming here before or after a show at Koka Booth. The menu is very straightforward and gives you a variety of protein choices along with bases, sauces, and curries. The service is outstanding and always very quick as well.

Went here the other day with my friend. Really enjoyed the food. I got the tofu manchurian and it was very flavorful. We also got the cauliflower 65 and it was delicious. It's nice that they have the option to mix and match sauces and proteins. The owner was very friendly and personable! Will definitely be visit again to try more delicious food!

If you want excellent service in a beautifully decorated setting, Saffron definitely fits that bill. They were also very accommodating to spice levels since one in my party isn't able to tolerate too much heat. I was honestly just a little disappointed by the food. Two of my favorites are baingan bartha & saag paneer. While the taste and spices were fine, the dishes were overly salted. I couldn't taste the subtle tastes of the greens or the eggplant...the salt overpowered it Chicken biryani while very tasty it was also on the saltier side. Highly recommend the Amritsari kulcha which was stuffed with a deliciously spiced potato mixture. Maybe it was an anomaly with the salt & is definitely worth a second try.

Scallops were delicious. Went with a few friends for a birthday celebration. I'd eat there again.

This may be the best Indian food - taste and variety for the price that I've ever had. Everything was delicious, portions were good, ambiance was pleasant, service was great. Hoping to get the word out because it was pretty sparse of patrons...let's not let another good one fail! Check out Saffron Indian cuisine ASAP
