I was in town and was craving Pakistani/Indian food. Found this hidden gem and I am so glad I did! The food is so frikken good I went there two times back to back.The inside is cute, cozy and clean. It's a family run business and the owner, Kamal, made me feel welcome right away.For appetizers, we got complimentary papadum with mint chutney. We ordered vegetable pakora which were so hot, crispy, and delicious. For entrees we got butter chicken and butter naan. The butter chicken was smooth, with plenty of chicken, and just hit the spot. We also got chicken biryani which came with raita. Everything was finger lickin' good. The owner gave us complimentary gulab jamun and kheer. I honestly can't wait to come back lol 10/10 recommend!

First thing is the sign outside says Maharaja not Saalan. It's next to the Florist. Place is very small, maybe 10 tables.Staff and people working were very nice. Waitress Anju was very nice but shes speaks very, very low so a little hard to hear.Food was good, lamb vindaloo and chicken korma were excellent. Saag paneer was good too. We didn't like the eggplant dish but the naan was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Such a great addition to the Sunrise area. The restaurant used to be called Saalan but is now occupied by Maharaja Bistro. Piping hot fresh food and naan in a small but cozy setting. The Medium spice is spicy so beware. The garlic naan is addicting and the lamb Rogan Josh is yum! Definitely will be back and you should check them out too. Small business owners need love too.

We picked this restaurant on a whim and are so glad we did! The food, atmosphere and service are all impeccable (and the prices are good too!). Anja helped us with the menu options and delicious recommendations and was very accommodating to our rambunctious toddler niece. If you are looking for a family friendly environment where the food will exceed your expectations, this is it. We DEFINITELY will be back!

What an amazing experiments we had at the small family owned Indian restaurant. I ordered the chicken tikka the garlic naan and the Daal soup but I ordered it level seven spicy hot. It was amazing.The service provided by Anju and the owner actually helped us as well. Her name is Kamal, very nice people needless to say I left their fool and content. I am definitely going back soon. You could taste their hard work in their food is fresh and the service impeccable. Thank you so much now named Majarat bistro and Café.

Outstanding! Ended up here because another place was closed on Mondays. How lucky are we! Great vibe, energy, and ambiance. Kamal greeted us cheerfully and made us feel right at home. She recommended the Vegetable Pakora appetizer and it was amazing, the flavors were delectable. Also devoured before we could take a pic. And then we had the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala, both equally incredible. Can't wait to come back and try more, and support a great local business!
