This location is actually right down the street from where we live. Not even a mile from us. We always drove past it every day since it was in our daily commute. Decided to drop by and order for dining out. The interior was great, the atmosphere was welcoming. We'll dine in next time. As for the food...Ruthie's Nachos were great. The Enchilada was well made too. The Quesadillas were the highlight. Also have to say this is the first place where the salsa that came with the tortilla chips were not watered down at all. Actually had taste and spice to it. Will visit again.

Have lived here for 2 years and never visited this site. Went today . We had the chicken tacos and the big burrito. The tacos were good. The meat was tender. The charros were not very flavorful, but still good. The burrito was tasty. The meat was good. The waitress was exceptional. Always checking in any needs. Overall, great experience. We will return again.

Really tasty. I wasn't even sure I was going to order to go or not. U decided to sit and eat alone. It's my birthday and I enjoyed the atmosphere, and food. Everything was great. The service was great. They seemed to enjoy the clients coming for dinner most of the people seemed like regulars, like family. Very pleasant.

This place is near my house we went on a Friday. As soon as we walked in this lady was there beside us and we told her we needed a table for two. She just kept looking the other way where everyone was sitting with an upset face and then turns around and walked between me and my sister without even saying excuse me. That ticked us off. If we wouldn't have stepped to the side she was going to probably push us off. It turns out she wasn't even the hostess. We're still waiting at the entrance and finally the hostess comes and sits us down. The piña colada was good, my sisters margarita was definitely watered down, it tasted like there was only a small amount of alcohol. My street tacos were ok, the meat still looked a little pink. The green sauce tasted like nothing. The red sauce had more flavor! I tried my sisters flautas and that chicken definitely needs more seasoning it was so bland. All I tasted was the flour from the fried tortilla. It was definitely busy this Friday considering the astros were playing too. Overall I probably will get something different next time for sure!

My family has been going to Ruthies for 20+ years ever since it was called Ruthies Mexicana so as a regular who has been going his whole life let me tell you the truth and nothing but facts. Lets start off with the ambiance, the moment you step through the door you can smell the fresh quesadillas and The owner, William Greets you at the door with a smile, the host is really kind and is always smiling. Kids menus are weirdly perfect folded nicely i think more people should recognize the work that goes into those, anyway lets talk servers, They are always on top of everything they are very attentive, even during those busy days that i have gone they are still delivering perfectly and in a timely manner, the restaurant always full of regulars much like myself, the tacos al cabone are perfectly cooked and queso is amazing. overall great place and great people, so much so that i had to make a yelp account to express it. Overall 10 out of 10 I really recommend.

I love Ruthie's. Used to go there all the time when they were located next to New Territory by the 90/99 intersection and now they moved to this new location which is a nice and spacious! They have tables and booths available, a big bar with bar seating, good sized TVs, ample lighting, and juicy beef fajitas! The service was great. We were sat immediately. Chips and salsa was replenished throughout our time there. Water was refilled quickly and our food was brought out within 10 minutes of ordering. I said it once, I'll say it again. I'm a sucker for red salsa and their salsa is just how I like it made. They have shrimp quesadillas, which I love... but my husband asked if they could add spinach to the shrimp quesadillas (I wasn't hesitant on this because why ruin the flavor of shrimp) They added soooo much spinach...and man, he loved it!! Lol. Now, the spinach tasted good but I just love the taste of shrimp on its own, that I prefer it without the spinach. If you love spinach, you'll love these quesadillas - I mean it was fully loaded. Ask for medium cooked beef fajitas, it's perfection. Also got their Camarones Ajillos which is shrimp sautéed in some garlic and butter ... The shrimp were big and flavorful! I was a huge fan of this item. 10/10 for me!

Loveee the food here, a must! There is nothing you can really go wrong with trying..there is so many options to pick from. The flan dessert is to die for very well balanced its rich but not overpowering. If you're looking for a place to try smooth but strong margaritas this is the place and the ambiance is super authentic along with attentive service. Great place to take photos once you pass through the entrance.
