Rudy's Righteous Bar & Grill

It's always refreshing to be able to go to a bar and know that there is a veggie option. Their veggie burger is freshly patty with fresh herbs and seasoned well on a pita bread as the bun. I highly recommend this light veggie burger option. Tuesdays is not only taco Tuesday but it's also trivia night!!!! The owner and his right hand man was a delight duo they are very friendly and get behind the bar.

This is a pretty new place in perimeter but I like it a lot. It was my first time and definitely would come back. The drinks were really good and they have plenty of flavors. I liked the blackberry margarita the most. The salmon quesadilla was to die for. The service was really good and quick as well. Didn't have to remind the bartender for anything. The ambiance was nice also. It wasn't super packed because it's a new restaurant but the music was really good. Like really really good. Definitely a good date spot or somewhere I'd go for some good food and drinks.

I liked everything about this place, other than it being tucked into a random strip mall. They let me sample the beers on tap before choosing - I had an ale and a German wheat beer, ultimately. We ordered the chicken quesadilla- which was excellent- and the chicken pesto sandwich - which was a good example of the dish. Their French fries were sort of like potato wedges but had a nice crisp on the outside and were good (though they did need some salt). We sat at the bar. The service was attentive and friendly. They had a nice variety of stuff on the televisions - boxing (it was a big fight night, apparently), Olympic swimming trials, American Ninja Warrior. The music was good - a continuous flow of old school rap and remixes. The decor was nice, classy and understated. A little far for me, but I'll make a point of going back.

Rudy's Rightous is located next to Regal Cinemas behind Perimeter Mall, where Royal Oak used to be. This is a reincarnation of the Rightous Room in Brookhaven which was at Johnson Ferry and Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Since it is a large strip mall, there is tons of parking. Rudy did a nice job redoing the interior of this place. It's spacious, well lit, not too loud, and is welcoming. Very nice patio out front with plenty of seating. Will be nice in the Spring especially. The menu is pretty much the same as it was at the Brookhaven Rightous. Tony, the head cook, really knows what he is doing. It's pretty much typical American Bar food, but far better than average. I have never been able to figure out exactly what he seasons the chicken quesadillas with, but I swear it might be crack! It is SO delicious. The 1/2 pound burger is juicy and cooked just right. There are several TVs. Maybe not enough for the full suite of NFL games on a Sunday afternoon, but enough to handle most normal sports watching days. I didn't count, but I'd say 6 to 8 TVs currently. It's a good, friendly neighborhood bar. Will likely be a hit with industry folks too late at night. The food is way better than you might expect. Go for the food, stay for the fun. 5 Stars not because it is a 5 Star dining experience. 5 Stars for being just about perfect at what it's meant to be...a neighborhood grill & bar.

It's on the struggle side of trying to be a cool place. Might be better later on the weekend but it feels a little sad in there. The bartender was very nice and did a great job.

Really cool to see Rudy bringing OG Righteous Room vibes to the old Royal Oak location. Nikki and the other bartenders are top notch! Try the steak of the day!

First time at Rudy's today!! Exceptional! Starting with the fantastic service from Nikki behind the bar to the yummy food. Buffalo Chicken Sammie and the chicken Parm Sammie did not disappoint. Onion straws a must have! They occupy the old Royal Oak location on Mt Vernon and they have completely updated and refreshed the interior. This is in my neighborhood and we will be back!

Over by the theater and Jersey Mikes. Apple Maps brought us to the wrong side of the mall. Small bar with a few tables, very much a hole in the wall. But very clean inside. Food is very simple. Wings were ok, not spicy and not crisp enough for me. I'm ordered burgers with bacon but they were out of bacon(!). Good, meaty, juicy burgers. Don't know why they ask how you would like them done, they all came out well. Either way, still good. Wedges were burnt and extra crispy but my son says he liked them that way. Chicken bowl was bland, very basic. I'd try it again but not rushing back.

I'm from out of town, but when I walked through the doors it was such a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. I sat at the bar and Amber served me, she was so kind, I felt like I had known her for a very long time. The food was AMAZING!!! Next time I'm in town I will definitely be stopping here.
