As a Cantonese person living in Atlanta Georgia I'm always on the hunt for good dim sum. I think I've found it :). Set in a royal banquet hall with dim sum carts roaming around it's exactly the setting you want to be eating dim sum. I will say, if you're not experienced you can probably be a little overwhelmed by people coming up to you and showing you random food. Just sit back and relax and let the people show you new and exciting food!!

I recently visited Royal China in Duluth with some friends for a dim sum outing and left feeling quite disappointed. The restaurant itself is large and beautifully decorated, and when we arrived, there were many people waiting for a table. This gave me the impression that the food would be good, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype.We ordered a variety of dishes, including some of their more exclusive items like Ebi sweet shrimp and shark fin soup, along with several dim sum options. However, the overall quality of the food was below my expectations. The flavors were lacking, and some dishes didn't taste as fresh as I would have hoped.Additionally, the service was not up to standard. Given how busy and popular the restaurant seems to be, I expected much better in terms of both food quality and service. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has great potential, but it fell short in delivering a satisfying dining experience. I would give it 3 stars based on my visit.

We visited Royal China Restaurant for dim sum brunch. While the food was delicious, we were left waiting too long for the carts to come by, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the exterior of the restaurant doesn't match the interior--inside, it's much nicer than you'd expect from the outside. On the plus side, we love that it's conveniently located next to a Costco, so we were able to do some shopping afterward. Overall, a mixed experience with some highs and lows.

Came on a weekend and we did not have to wait too long to be seated. I thought the service was nice and attentive. There were multiple carts with food and quick service. We ordered multiple items and definitely had our favorites. I would say the food here was good but honestly most of the food I ate was either cold or lukewarm. Some flavors were also lacking to be honest. Overall, the ambiance was nice and it would be a nice place for gatherings but I think there are better dimsum spots.

Yeah Yummy again. really stepped up their dim sum game again. Happy to report quality is again very good. Good variety, even had coconut mochi and coconut squares for dessert. Lots of great dim sum, hot, fresh, plentiful, large portions. Service was spot on, attentive kept filling up our water, taking away empty containers. As soon as we say down the carts were there with all our goodies. It was so efficient. Back on my list of go to places to eat dim sum. YAY!

I've been here for a wedding celebration but for dim sum the first time over the weekend! The dim sum experience can be very nerving for anyone unfamiliar with the process. Even for myself that has had it many times. I really liked the large dining room and the high ceilings. It made it seem just a little less chaotic. Wait staff came around quickly as soon as we all sat and then again throughout our meal. It is easy to drop $$ since there are no prices labeled and honestly you wouldn't know if you're charged correctly unless you ask for price and keep tabs on what is being marked off on your ticket. Overall food all came out fresh and satisfying. We ordered salt and pepper squid on the side and even though it didn't look like much it was very good. There were a few items they did not have available in the dim sum but we were told we can order off the menu but it would be the large portion which we opt out of. Sundays are supposed to be the busiest and best days to come for dim sum with more offerings. I don't think my social anxiety will allow me to come on a Sunday though. LOL

The food was aswesome, service was excellent, they're so attentive and the food was hot and quick! It's a beautiful place to eat. We didn't feel rushed. We had a great time! It will now be our ne favorite spot.Don't miss out on this place if you're in the Atlanta area!

If you plan to visit Royal China Restaurant over the weekend for lunch, remember that there may be a wait; unfortunately, they do not offer a waitlist option. However, the restaurant has a spacious waiting area with plenty of seating, so you can relax while waiting for a table. During our visit, we found that they ran out of high chairs initially, but they eventually found one after a five-minute wait. If you have children, they may enjoy the people-watching experience here. The dining room is quite large and can get crowded during peak hours. The main dining room features impressive decorations, adding to the restaurant's atmosphere.Royal China Restaurant earns 3 out of 5 stars regarding food and service. However, it is still a great place to enjoy traditional dim sum with family and friends. Remember that there are no new items on the dim sum menu, but if you have never tried Chinese dim sum before, it is worth experiencing. Dim sum is a communal tradition that involves enjoying small, delicious portions of various dishes, typically accompanied by Chinese tea, making it perfect for social gatherings during mornings or early afternoons.

Food tastes horrible, not processed properly, can see lots of hairs, hard for chewing and digest. Way over priced.
