Sitting on the patio with our sweet pup, Wyatt for dinner was pure heaven! Where are my fellow dog and pizza lovers?Rosso is a great 29th Street neighborhood dinner spot in Central Park. Ceasar salad, which had all of the wonderful components of Cesar minus the dressing with Italian dressing was delicious. The hot honey pizza was yummy and thin. Crispy and chewy. Mmm.A carafe of wine, salad and pizza for $43!! Plus we loved our chat with Mack, who brought us all of our yummy food. Great service, casual and yummy, not to mention affordable! We will be back soon, please support our wonderful local restaurant.

Why aren't more people eating here? We walked in at lunchtime today and there were only two other customers besides us. The staff looked anxious and they were happy to see us. Fortunately for us we had all of their attention and good spirits!First the dough and the crust: A+, 5-stars, 10/10. It was charred and crispy yet provided a little bit of resistance. So good. You have to eat it there and hot out of the oven.Next, the ingredients: you can tell they use top-notch ingredients and it is worth it!The pizza was delicious and I would argue a step up from other MOD-erately priced chains. It really is authentic Neapolitan pizza and Rosso is going to be our new go-to spot.

New pizza place in the neighborhood! Had to check it out. This place just recently opened. Surrounded by other businesses there is street parking but make sure to read the signs. Shaded patio is dog friendly. Water bowls outside for your four legged friends. Free water cups off to the side of the register. You can customize the pizza (take off a topping or add more). We got the SALUMIERE (MEAT LOVER). It was a think crust with San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, spicy salami, Italian cooked ham, sweet Italian sausage, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil (description from their website). The pizza was served hot and fresh to our table. Personally not a fan of thin crust but it was good! I wanted some honey to dip my crust in but I didn't see any so I'll ask next time. It was a classic meat pizza. The service on the other hand, so friendly! Eager and happy to help! Very kind and welcoming. I will defiently be going back!

A terrific addition to our Central Park community, Rosso Pomodoro offers a solid combination of food quality, atmosphere, outstanding customer service, vision, and versatility. It is led by superb people who genuinely care about their customers and the neighborhood, and they have hired wonderful staff members with those same character traits. I liked their interaction and warmth, which goes a long way in today's frequently antiseptic business world. They have numerous pizza options, with their on-site pizza oven providing a constant inviting vibe in the middle of the counter area. There are inside benches and tables along with numerous outdoor tables that offer the chance to get social and enjoy a meal with friends or family. I might do some work from one of the spots while dining! Street non-metered parking is available, but we walked from our nearby residence.I'm intrigued by their Taste of Bruschetta Board, sampling five of their options, and will try that next time. It looks great.I enjoyed my side Caesar salad, which was a tasty and ample collection of Romaine lettuce, croutons, and parmesan cheese with just the right flavoring. I loved the Tre Colori pizza, a delicious three-part Neapolitan pizza comprised of equal thirds of Quattro Formaggi, Margherita, and Basil Pesto. It was spectacular! We also enjoyed a dessert of Cannolo, a Ricotta-filled yummy closing.

Very nice place nice clean decorations in the Italian theme. Was difficult to find parking, think that severely limits a business . The pizza was very tasty and very authentic Neapolitan. We had their lemon blueberry cheesecake and it was yummy. The only complaint is the prices most of the pizzas are around a 12" pizza and they get $20-25 per pie. 1 pizza would be ok for two people with a regular appetite. The cheesecake was $11 and didn't feel that was with that for a fairly small serving but ist was yummy. It is difficult to fine authentic Neapolitan pizza here in Denver but they definitely fit that order.I think for a treat once in a while it would be great but a bit expensive for a regular thing.

I was excited to hear that Rosso Pomodoro is the same place that makes pizza for the Eataly establishment in NY and LA. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. The execution is great, 500+ degree coal fired oven and the pizzas are pretty - but they're lacking flavor. First time we tried them was for the soft opening and it was okay, nothing to go back for - but they sent me a coupon in the mail so decided to give them one more try. First round we ordered a calzone, this time we ordered the same calzone and a pepperoni and sausage pizza - and again it was super bland and one note. No flavor at all.I thought maybe the dough was overpowering everything - and the dough is good - but after I picked apart both the pizza and calzone to try every ingredient by itself, including the sauce, I realized it's the quality of ingredients. The pepperoni wasn't salty and robust, the sauce wasn't tangy, the cheese tasted like nothing, the ham had no flavor and even the sausage (what little crumbs were on the pizza) had no flavor. I went back in this morning to use the meats and cheeses in a breakfast sandwich. I tasted them again and sooo bland, so I scrapped that idea - and ended up throwing the picked apart calzone away and the entire pizza, except for that one slice we ate :( I think, to the owners, if you're able to spend a little extra and bump up the quality of ingredients you're using - and taste test more often both fully executed pizzas and ingredients individually, you could make this place great!

Very unwhelming and severely overhyped unfortunately. Not sure why they replaced the old pizza place with another (with another pizza spot located across the street). We ordered two pizzas and a breadstick appetizer and waited over an hour for the food to be ready. So expensive and so meh.

What a great little surprise! A fast casual that will compare to Esters, my sit down favorite. Watch out Ester's, I hear they are getting a liquor license, a glass of wine would make this perfect. The staff was very friendly, JJ provided us with great recommendations and of course with his descriptions we had to try them all! If you enjoy Neapolitan thin crust, this is a great choice! If I had one criticism, it would be the Caesar salad, the dressing was different, more like Italian. Skip the Caesar salad. Love that it is fast casual.

If you are looking for a REAL ITALIAN PIZZA go here. I grew up in Italy and this is the BEST Italian pizza I had in the US (and I lived in different places). If you like the American gross, oily, cheesy, fat pizza don't go to Rosso Pomodoro. They use real and simple ingredients and this pizza is REAL!!! if someone writes another bad review and this business disappears, I will hunt you down lol. I'm so happy that there's a great pizza place next to my house!!I haven't met the owner yet, but I let the employees know TO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING! Please keep it as is!
