Overall, good breakfast/brunch spot in West Chester. We arrived right when they opened as they don't take reservations, and there was already a line. We were told it would be around 40-45 minutes to get a table because some really big groups had just gotten seated. After waiting, we were quickly seated. The food was good. For an appetizer, we got the pretzel croissant and those were probably the highlight for me! The entrees were good but nothing mind blowing. I got the breakfast sandwich and my husband got the pork belly Benedict. Would come back but definitely have to get there right when they open on a Sunday.

I don't love the seating arrangement inside (feels a little cramped) but there's a back patio with lots of space as a second option. Super pleasant staff and very good food! Great lunch/brunch spot!

Super delicious breakfast! We were looking for a quiet and comfortable place for brunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast. I got the croissant sandwich and it came out super quickly with friendly staff willing to accommodate the menu. The arugula sandwich is a must try! Thank you guys for the yummy meal.

Great place to bring my grand daughter on a Thursday afternoon little rainy outside. We went to the museum and found parking right outside so this is a beautiful day for a grandfather like me life is good.

A yummy and casual place for brunch! Went here with a friend on a Tuesday morning and there was no wait. I loved the inside a lot, kind of reminded me of an old farm almost? Very clean and the lighting was warm on a rainy day. I think the upstairs has a place for local sales, I didn't go up there but I saw a sign for it. The pretzel croissants were SO delicious!! Never tried a dish like that and it was unique and yummy. Everything else was also tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a bit pricey for what you're getting in my opinion, but I guess that is also West Chester in general. Would love to come back here for breakfast/brunch with my family.

Roots cafe may be the best brunch spot in West Chester. The decor and ambiance is so cozy and rustic with all the wood furniture and all the decorations. The food is also top notch. today i had their country fried chicken and it was so good. the chicken was fried well and the sausage gravy is so flavorful and coats the chicken so well. The potatoes are also the best i've ever had being perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and with the just right amount of salt. The only downside was that biscuit was cold in the middle but still tasted very good with the gravy and chicken. My girlfriend got the french toast bites and it may be the best french toast i've ever had. Each bite was crispy and soft with the right amount of sweetness, reminding almost of a perfect cinnamon toast crunch. Our server was also amazing and came by often to check up on us. Love this place.

A Breakfast HavenNestled in the heart of West Chester, this charming breakfast spot, should be known for its delightful exquisite assortment of eggs Benedict's. It has quickly become a personal favorite. From the moment you step in, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon captivates your senses, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, but the stars of the show are undoubtedly the French toast bites and eggs benedict. The French toast bites, the perfect breakfast appetizer, had a perfect balance of golden crispness on the outside and pillowy softness within, arrives adorned with a generous dusting of powdered sugar, fresh cut strawberries, blueberries, and a side of luscious cinnamon glaze syrup. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, a comforting embrace for the taste buds.As for the eggs benedict, they are nothing short of a masterpiece. The poached eggs, when pierced, reveal a velvety yolk that cascades over the perfectly seared thick cut scrapple and English muffin, all elegantly draped in a velvety blanket of sausage gravy. The marriage of textures and flavors is a testament to the chef's culinary prowess. The atmosphere is equally enchanting, with sunlight streaming through the windows, casting a warm glow over the cozy, rustic decor. The attentive staff and welcoming Roots team adds to the welcoming ambiance, ensuring that every visit feels like a cherished indulgence.Whether you're craving a sweet, syrup-drenched delight or a savory, indulgent classic, this breakfast spot is a haven for all breakfast enthusiasts. Each visit is a reminder of the beauty found in simplicity, executed with unparalleled finesse.

Stopped in for brunch and so glad I did. We sat outside in a cute little patio and had the best service. I mentioned that some bloody marys are way too salty for me so the server brought out a sample for me to taste.... Yum! I got mine spicy and had it with the mushroom hash. We all cleared our plates and left happy.
