Room 12 Lounge

Came here on Saturday night with a group of like 10. They didnt check anyone's ID, all of us are 23+, but I found it strange for a sat night. There were prob like 20 other people? Not crowded, but when you're with a group all that really matters is the music. Which was pretty on point. The DJ was awesome. My friends and I basically went up after every song ended to request another. He gave me the mic to sing at the end of the night (lolllll). If you just wanna get your dance on grab some friends and check it out.Oh the bartender. Soooo I ordered shots, guy gets them. Order mixed drinks, he says "I only serve beer, go to the other bartender". Weird bc you just poured my shots. He was also extremely rude about it and this went on every time we ordered drinks. Later in the night my friend found at that since the actual bar is so small the bartenders cant get by each other. Maybe he should have said that instead of being rude as we bought our $10 shots...

Pretty cool little spot. Good place for college folks who knows all of the DJs music.

Came here Saturday night around 12:30 and my party of 6 was literally the ONLY ones there.. awk.. However we were rolling deep with a group of approximately 30 people so I thought hey, why not try some place new since we weren't interested being sardined at any of the other bars. The DJ came up to the 6 of us and said "I don't normally ever take requests but since you're the only ones here, I'll consider it. Let me know". It was just weird that he'd say that. He took some people requests, not others, that's fine, makes sense. The bartender was incredibly rude. Bartenders generally are attentive and great at listening despite all the loud music at bars. I had to repeat myself several times "VODKA CLUB SODA" and rather than apologizing for not hearing me, he made it seem like I wasn't saying it right.. He continued this attitude throughout the night. As the night went on, the place filled up. Again, all people in my group! Hello, Room 12, ya'll would have made $0 without me tonight (I'm for real) maybe you should have some good service. The bathroom also had puke in the sink for most of the night!! TALK ABOUT DISGUSTING. I am pretty sure this was no one from my group, so must have been someone from the bar downstairs. Regardless, disgusting. Have someone clean that up ASAP. I'll probably come here again only because of the dance floor. But again, I'll have to be with a huge group cause seems like no one knows this place yet. Well drinks $7 so not terribly expensive lounge prices.

UGH. The first time I came here was a fairly decent time but I recently went back for my friend's going away party and this place was the WORST. We were the only ones there and they were extremely rude and not courteous at all. I don't understand how the service could be so poor and slow when the place was essentially EMPTY. Even if they are slow for whatever reason, they could be much more polite about it. I watched multiple friends attempting to place orders and being flat out ignored for an unnecessarily long amount of time while others who had just arrived were promptly paid attention to. It was totally arbitrary and unprofessional. Will avoid coming back here.Also the fact that I've only checked in here twice and became the Duchess on my second Check-in says a lot about how frequently Yelper's come back to this spot...

Small place, we got bottle service but the tables are a bit too small for ten people.

First timer to Prime Lounge. It was pretty empty until midnight.We were there from eleven and they had drink specials for $3 beer/well drinks. I really liked the music - House/HipHop.A Good place to chill with a small group of friends.

Two floors.Great musicDrinks not so expensive Awesome vibe!!!Hit up this spot with 20 other people and the DJ kept us on the dancefloor till the place closed down...now thats what i call a PARTAY!!!

I thought this place was cool and chill since it wasn't super crowded like the neighborhood lounges, but boy I was quickly proven wrong. Like Anupma S., I too came here when it was Prime and they seemed to be open to customer feedback and were also extremely nice. Not as Room 12, though, no sir. No cover, and in a nice location so you think it's cool. But what DJ, you won't even take requests? Seriously the Prime DJ looked up a Bollywood song for us on YouTube and played it without any reservations. This Room 12 DJ didn't even let me complete my sentence. My friend asked for a song, and he said he only had a specified list so I asked if he could just play a song from my phone to make things easier, but he couldn't even let me finish my thought. Seriously there were all of 15 people in the venue (all people in my group), you couldn't even entertain one request? Then, the bartender gave my friend and I attitude as well. Again, hardly anyone to serve, so why the 'tude?Honest suggestion, Room 12, you guys have a wonderful space, just please enforce some better customer service amongst your staff members.

Want to have fun? This place has great parties, networking, happy hour all kinds of events! The food? They have some of the best appetizers in philly & my fav? "Cheesesteak egg roll" mmmmmm.... The best! I just can't get enough...

I've been here twice and the second time was only because you get a free well drink when you check in on Yelp. The top floor is okay - always crowded, slightly smelly, and just overall not great. The girls bathroom is DISGUSTING - avoid at all costs. The bottom floor is more relaxed and not as crowded, but still not worth the time. There are better places around the area I prefer.
