If you're looking for good company and a good crowd with an even better staff (management to behind the bar), this is the spot for you.If you're put off by darts, golden tee, regulars and a retro vibe, this is not for you. If you're made uncomfortable by any of this, not for you. However, if you're willing to embrace and become part of a tight knit and welcoming group of regular patrons, Ron's is the place for you. There are so many welcoming, unique, eclectic but genuine patrons that frequent this watering hole (including myself) that make it a hidden treasure amongst the Houston bar scene.---Bottoms up

I really enjoyed this pub. My friend and I came in late after wanting to check out the spot on a random weekday. The good think they are located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The location is right next to Cliffs burgers and across the street from a HEB. The only down fall about this place is they don't serve food but they do allow you to bring in food. I also went to Cliffs burger next door and the delivered to me in the pub. This place allows smoking on the patio and they have a wide range of beers on tap. I felt the drink prices were very affordable and the crowd is neighborhood relaxed. Overall I would definitely come back it a low key dive bar. Definitely worth stopping by if your in the area.

We've been here a couple times now. I've loved both times. Good service and the people who come here are also nice! We're thinking of moving to the neighborhood...this is an awesome neighborhood and we would love to live here!

Has been a local neighborhood gem for years. Nice beer selection along with a full bar. Informal atmosphere, perfect for after work. Front and rear patios with TV's and smoking allowed. Nice English pub vibes. You must try their pizza!!! Delicious :) they serve it til 1 AM.

All I can say is, I tried.I tried to give my local bar a chance.I tried to come in and have a great time and relax and have a glass of wine...I tried to spend time in my local pub just relaxing with the positivity that I usually bring.I tried to overlook the sausage fest that was going on and Take it as a positive note...I even thought to myself, "wow, there sure are a lot of guys here...nice."I tried to enjoy my glass of Chardonnay and the atmosphere.I tried to ignore the misogynistic comments from a couple of men who approached me...After all, I was a stranger to them.The bartenders were very nice to me, Until...I went to the ladies room and walked in on a fight!! I reported it to the staff and they told me I was lying.The people fighting came out of the lady's room (They were men) ...They denied fighting to the staff. #TheRealLiarsI tried to ignore the broken glass on the ladies room floor from the fight ...but it was still there...So once again I reported it. I tried to ignore the negative comments and mistreatment from one of the bartenders when I reported there was debris in the lady's room from the "fight"...He said " the fight that didn't happen? Just pay your tab and leave lady" I then asked, "Why should I leave? I haven't done anything "I continued to sit there and watch TV and sip... I watched the crowd...specifically, the people who were fighting. They were still arguing, but, they took it outside...yay I called my Uber and Made a conscious decision never to return. #Sigh

Great Place , It's where everybody knows your name .One night my buddy , father Rose , was almost destroyed by Ron's Whiskey. He opened the door to his fourth dimension and almost didn't make it back. We found his naked body covered in slime in the mens bathroom being cradled by comedian Andy Dick. I definitely recommend. Also , father Rose spoke of a black widow who tried to erase his life. I could not unlock this feature - subtracting star
