Overall another bad experience with Ronin, it used to be so good and not sure what happened with this brand.Food is okay, bad restaurant layout - not good for large group, extremely not family friendly. No kids menu and no changing table in bathroom, this is the most kids unfriendly restaurant I've been to in Denver. 26% service charge with group bigger than 5.Walked in with four adults, one toddler, and one infant, and the waitress said they cannot accommodate six unless if we make a reservation, but can make the table work if we put the carseat with the infant behind me or sit in the patio. The three sushi rolls we had were good and the seafood is fresh, the tempura is good, seaweed salad has no flavor, ramen was mediocre and the karage is also not great( doubled fried, either their oil is old or they fried they too long - it has an after taste). They charged me 4% for back staff appreciation and 22% service fee for being a party bigger than 5. None of them were disclosed until the check was handed to me. If the service was great I would have happily paid the 22%, the service was really mediocre and I have to constantly wave them down for help.

This place is small with a sushi bar and is on a residential street. It has a nice vibe. Came here for dinner. The sushi here was decent and the ramen was way too salty- had to dilute it with water for it to be edible. The worst part was that it took over 1 hour to get all hour food even though the restaurant was not full. Waiter seemed unconcerned about it. I won't return.

Absolutely loved Ronin! I sat at the sushi bar and it was so fun chatting with the sushi chefs and watching them make the sushi! Would definitely recommend that over sitting at a table. There isn't much seating inside so would recommend making a reservation, especially on weekend! Parking is also street parking. May have to walk a ways! I ordered two rolls, and both were delicious! All the fish is super fresh and flavorful! I will definitely be back! The servers were also great - very friendly!

Finally got around to trying this neighborhood spot with all the raves and it was worth the hype! Great sushi rolls- big, fresh, creative combinations. The toro nigiri on special was cut well and melt-in-your-mouth fatty with a nice pop of umami from the bowfin caviar. The chicken karaage was very crispy on the outside and had a great spicy sweet sauce. We tried the Ronin and Goku rolls; Ronin was my favorite but they're both very good, as a Chicagoan who has been eating sushi her whole life, this spot beats a lot of places in Chitown. The atmosphere is a little **fancy** for sushi imho but they have a more relaxed bar area in back I would sit at next time (also the HH specials are only available at the bar just fyi)

The rolls were amazing and the service was even better! Jessica our waitress was so kind and make the experience wonderful, and then they also have a fabulous bartender Ivy that made a perfect mock-tail and old fashioned! We can't wait to come back

Such a cute little spot with spectacular service! We sat at the sushi bar and the chefs working were surprisingly chatty given how busy they were. We loved hearing their recommendations and their general enthusiasm for the menu. Karaage was hot, flavorful, and delicious. definitely recommend starting your meal with it! We had a variety of nigiri, which was all delightful, and the How Bout Dat & Nice n Easy rolls were both amazing! Lots of great flavors and unique combinations. We'll be back for sure!

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday, and it was easily the best birthday present I've had in years. The place isn't very big, and even at that, it wasn't very full when we got there. We chose the bar because we like to see the chefs do their thing. (That's got to be like half the fun at a sushi spot, in my mind.) As we ate, the place gradually filled up. Definitely has a neighborhood feel to it, but also a little upscale without being pretentious. Nice vibe, overall. We got a couple of rolls and a bunch of nigiri based on some of our favorites and a couple of suggestions from the chef. The fish and rice tasted superb. The eel may have been my favorite (we got seconds on that...) but we also got and really enjoyed the salmon skin and soft shell crab. There was also a nice white fish with a really pleasant citrusy hint at the top. Staff was really helpful on suggestions, and the place appeared immaculately clean. I don't get to do sushi all that often, but this place will now be on my sushi short list. (Now, to ensure I choose as good a place for my gf's birthday...)

I've officially been ruined for all other sushi bars.Art and taste, that's why people go out for sushi. It's all about the food, the presentation, the beauty and the flavor. Trust and believe, the photos don't do these plates justice. Amazing sushi would be enough of a reason to go to a particular place, but no, we're not stopping there. If you want an experience, you want to have fun, you want great food, you need to come see Jonny! Until recently of LoHi, soon to be at Congress Park, do yourself a favor, sit at the bar and let him make the decisions (although if you don't like eel sauce, be prepared for some hard core taunting) and order a gin martini. You won't regret it.

Most underrated sushi in Denver hands down. Not sure why the mediocre yelp score (maybe because they do takeout/delivery) but I can assure you this is high test sushi. Sit at the bar. Way better than sushi den or matsu, no question about it. Service at the hostess stand could use some polishing and drink orders can take awhile. The bar is sleek and modern and fun to watch the chefs.

Was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures but it was a fun experience! The server was super friendly and the sashimi and nigiris were delightful. The rolls were a hit or miss. Two out of the three rolls we ordered was good but we felt like we had to force the other one down our throat. Not bad if you're craving sushi.
