My friends and I eat her every week. This week we ordered the Lopez Nachos with fajita meat. It was excellent. We like the food, the staff and the vibe.

My hubs (dating at the time) lived just down the road from this place, and we NEVER noticed or saw this place! Pretty bummed that I discovered this place so late in the game as this family-owned restaurant has been around for FOREVER....discovered it through some new friends we met and decided to have a weeknight dinner here, and boy did their services and salsa NOT disappoint! Ready for that mid-week kick? Come and grab some chips and salsa and a beer here...it'll be worth it!Located on HWY 6, near 1960 in a small plaza and all the way on the corner next to a doggy store that sells treats and other dog-gifts. Friendly service, warm, and cozy environment, with booths and a mid-second level with a bar and some more tables...they have some amazing salsa (green and red). We ordered the enchiladas and a few other dishes and enjoyed good food with great company. Pretty spacious parking lot as there are other surrounding businesses next to the restaurant, and they have a small patio! I would love to go back and try some of their other dishes...My dish came out super hot, and what I really appreciate and love about this place is it's friendly atmosphere and that they offer smaller quantity dishes for those who can't pack it away lol..they have the option to pick two or three enchiladas, and that really helps because I can't ever finish the third enchiladas and hate leftovers...

The food here was delicious! They serve you the traditional chips and salsa before you order and the salsa actually tastes very authentic! I loved it! As for the entree, I tried the enchiladas de mole. The rice and beans tasted very authentic, the mole was also delicious it's just missing a bit of flavor for my taste but over all I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back for another dish The place was clean and the staff was very polite and attentive. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Fernando and made feel welcome. For drinks we ordered some coffee and appreciated that it was made fresh! Bcs come on now who doesn't enjoyed a freshly brewed cup thanks Fernando! Regarding the parking, plenty of parking spaces.

I will tell you this: Romero's Las Brazas is *not* the best food you'll ever have; HOWEVER, the charm, hospitality, and care this place puts into the experience you'll have is very nearly unmatched.Looking through the reviews, I was iffy on if I should visit. What sold me was a review of someone saying they came back to visit this joint after THIRTEEN YEARS. If a restaurant can stick in your mind for over a decade, I'd have to say they must be worth a try.And this place most definitely is.From the moment the custom wooden door opened, the entire dining room was vibrating with wonderful energy. There was a band going, a very charismatic gent who kept calling us "Princesa," gave us the special, and they even made a custom on-the-rocks marg for my roomie they typically only blend. The salsa is homemade, warm, yummy, and well-seasoned. The flautas surprised me with ACTUAL flavor! The rice and beans look unassuming, but they are well-seasoned as well and good. My chicken was pretty decent, wrapped in a warm, homemade flour tortilla. My roommate got mole and I've gotta say, her dish was great. Not too sweet, like some moles usually are, because this one packs spice as the flavor develops. Honestly, I'd consider it to be a pretty surprising and complex dish considering this restaurant is just your local place. All that being said, I hope it becomes our place for years to come. Keep it up! PS - Expect pomp AND circumstance when you visit on your birthday!

Food was ok. The service was great and so was the vibe in the restaurant. The salsa could have used some help and so could the queso.

I had Tinga flautas. Oh my goodness were they delicious. The rice and beans also had a great flavor. The only thing about the place that could be better was the host? A man walking around talking to customers. It was fine for a bit but after 5 minutes it interrupts the meal and gathering.

Don't recommend, food was "rationed" per our 17yr old daughter Our food definitely wasn't nothing to brag about. Everyone has been raving about the service--which I can say they were ok. We had multiple ppl check on us however I believe it was bc they were short staffed. One and done for our family.

Menudo and Pozole is off the hook. As a connoisseur of traditional Mexican food this is the place to go for the above dishes. Menudo is one of those dishes that can be prepared a 1000 ways; with ingredients of soup sauce, choice menudo cuts and ways to prepare it. Romero's does it right with tender and firm pieces of Menudo that have been throughly cleaned, a great tasting red spiced caldo (soup) and they add the hominy corn just the way mom does. Let's not forget at what seems like handmade corn tortillas to add the final authentic taste. I like my food spicy, so I generally ask for diced jalapeños and onions to throw in for added flavor and spice. Their pozole is also just as wonderful; great flavor, tender chicken in a great broth. Have at it, you won't be disappointed!
