Rodeo's Smokehouse

Went in because I had seen a few Facebook post about how good this place was. It was rumored to not officially be open however they were getting practice serving the community since word got out before time. I am so glad that they chose to serve those that come. Not only is it giving them practice, it's getting everyone excited for the new restaurant that's opening in this spot. Food and service was definitely above my standards. And I'm easy to please. Restaurant was nice and clean and you can tell that they make sure after guest leave they clean the area for the next ones coming. I will definitely be coming back over and over and over. I wish them much success. Do yourself a favor and go try them out.

Came here since it's close to home and we were not disappointed. My bf and I split the 3 meat plate (you pick your meat) and it came with two sides of your choice (we got fried okra and mac and cheese) and choice of bread. All that for $23.99 and we couldn't finish it. You get to choose if you want a side of their bbq sauce and we went with the sweet bbq sauce, it's made in house and it was super flavorful. We also got an appetizer, the ghost pepper cheese fries. It was spicy but not TOO spicy, we were able to enjoy it and eat it without our mouth on fire. The owner was so nice and helpful from the moment we walked through to door to when we left. He was very friendly and had a smile the whole time. It's kid friendly with space outside to hang out. Inside there are booths and high top tables and a few regular tables and a long bar. No alcohol just yet but I'm definitely coming back for the food. It was phenomenal. Chicken was moist and had a great smoky flavor. Brisket wasn't fatty and had great flavor and the cheddar Jalapeno sausage was so food. There's nothing I didn't like. Can't wait to come back. I feel like this place is underrated so if you're in the area of 2978 and 1488 do yourself a favor and stop by! You won't regret it.

this place has got some of the best fried chicken I've tasted from Houston to Huntsville. I got Mac and cheese and southern green beans for my sides both filled me with joy. I could taste the love, time, and care put into the food. Get a large flavored lemonade of your choice and you won't be disappointed. This place is permanently on my personal list of favorite spots from now on. Plus you can order online to go!

We walked in tonight not realizing they closed at 6 and it was a few minutes after but they didn't run us off like some places might. The staff was warm and helpful since it was our first time there. The prices were in line with other choices in town and the Nashville Chicken Sandwich I had was a bit messy (as it should be) but had a nice heat and great flavor. The fries were nice and hot and my daughter said the Chicken Nuggets were the best. That in my book is pretty high praise because she is beyond picky. They have maybe too many choices on the menu but I look forward to going back again and trying a Burger next time. I hope more people get out and support them. It's nice to have an option that isn't a major chain that we can get a nice little meal at.

Rodeo's is open. I had their smoky and moist pork ribs at 5PM today - I will be there monthly. Beans were my favorite side, probably best beans in the area, loaded with smoky sausage and meat.They are closed Thursday (corporate catering gig) and Sunday. Their website says their hours are 11AM-6PM on the other days. Check rodeostx.com to see their vast array of offerings from BBQ to burgers to seafood to fried chicken to desserts. Yes, the same Rodeo's that was in Conroe on Hwy 75 two years ago.

Really pulling for this to make it. Come on guys, you got this! The area needs you! I'll return when the bar is open and hopefully up my review!

Owners were very nice. I'm happy to see this restaurant in the area. The BBQ and the sides were pretty good. For some reason the chicken was overcooked and dry.

we ordered food from the website to pick up because I'm currently on bedrest and it said it would be ready at 5:30 and they closed at 6. we got there about 5:20 and no one was there. the lights were off. but they charged my card. no one is answered the phone. Dozens of phone calls were made Wednesday and today. very frustrated Because the food looked so good and we'd been looking forward to trying it.

Went for the first time at this new location. I had wings and fries. Wings had a really nice smoke flavor and then fried crispy. They were delicious! I ordered the fries because it said house cut. I was a little disappointed to learn they were not house cut....but they were some of the best fried I've had. Crispy outside creamy inside. ( and I am a French fry connoisseur)Husband had the marbled brisket and really enjoyed. Another couple told us the hamburger was also delicious so we will be back. Go check them out. But be patient with the wait. They are having trouble getting help.

The northwest Woodlands area has been a real bbq desert lately, unless you're happy enough with getting it at a grocery store. So I was happy to see that Rodeo's had moved to a new location on 2978. Their brisket sandwich may be a bit pricey, but you can't beat the quality, and it can easily feed two--heaps of brisket without fat or gristle. And if bbq's not your thing, Tony's got a very ambitious menu sure to please all! Highly recommended.
