Service is exceptional. People are helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra step. It's a rarity to find this level of service in center city. Happy with selection of products and their variety. Staff keeps the place clean and restocking accomplished courteously without block aisle. Don't mind paying a very little bit extra for what I receive in return

The food is not fresh... rotting produce out on the stand... I've bought both sour cream and chicken that had gone off... the produce that is "fresh" is without fail soft and moldy within two days of taking it home... I want to add to the chorus so that hopefully someone in management notices and decides to care about selling food that won't make their patrons sick. I think the only way this place stays in business is location location location. Service is fine ‍

I hate to leave a bad review of a local grocery store but there's some serious red flags here, most notably the absence of prices for a lot of items (see photo). That's careless at best and deceitful at worst. The prices (that are listed) are very high and the overall quality of brands is pretty average. There is virtually no organic options whatsoever. That being said, it is in a very convenient location where there isn't another larger grocery store nearby and you'll find all the standard staples here quite reliably. The staff is friendly enough and the produce decently fresh when I went. I'd say only go here if you don't care about price or quality, otherwise make the extra effort and go somewhere else.

This is NEW, charging the same price for skim vs. Whole Milk. There was always a price variation, now there is NO lower price for skim milk #Rosenbergers

Convenient and good selection. Employees are also helpful and polite. I wouldn't recommend deli meats here or their deli bagels. Bagels were hard and stale (you can tell which ones have been sitting out for days). The turkey is extremely slimy and a weird color. They have sides at the deli that look like they have been sitting out for days. It's a good place to grab quick groceries that you may have forgotten during your normal grocery run, but when it comes to the fresh food, you might as well spend a few more dollars at Di Bruno Bros.

Love this local gem and the kind people who work there. They have fresh produce and most things you might want including household goods, stamps and even a decent kosher meat selection. Glad we live in walking distance.

So I live in Rittenhouse so felt I had an almost obligation to try the Rittenhouse Market. To this day I am still confused if I got robbed on some of the item price points and thought about dropping in the local po-po's office to inquire if I indeed was robbed.$12.99 for a jar of Gefilte Fish which has six pieces. $5.99 for a non-perishable can of Aspargarus Spears. I also was guilty of purchasing a 9 oz container of assorted nuts for $9.99. To be fair its not out of control prices and is very convienent. I found the service to be extremely friendly and the people that shopped there were very friendly as well which is nice as the entire store does have a small feel to it. I did run into some items on the shelves that should have been removed based on the sell by date, all of the garden salads. Which was disappointing as I was looking to buy one.Still haven't found my go to grocery store in the area but this is another option different from Square Market on South Street and you can definitely grab and go here with no lines from what I can tell.

Food tasted good it was clean, fresh, and not bad at all. The strange part was the guy that spit on me while I wa's paying for my food. Absolutely discusting...people in this market

I when to the deli on 9/18/24 at approx.1:30 p.m. and ordered a sandwich at the deli counter. When I saw that the counter employee did not add lettuce and tomato to the sandwich I brought it to his attention. He advised me that I "do this every time I come in there". He advised me that I ordered my complete sandwich when his back was turned. He did not write down the order. I am seventy years old and do not appreciate being talked rudely to. When I asked for a manager I was advised at the front counter that one was not available. This employee was extremely rude and at best should be working at a hot dog cart.If you want to pay high prices and get treated rude go to this establishment.

Despite it's extremely convenient location a lot of things are overpriced here. Fortunately they make up for the outlandish prices with amazing customer services; everyone who works here is so nice and helpful!If you're looking for a grocery store that delivers, look no further! This is a good spot for picking things up throughout the week that you missed or ran out of before your next big grocery trip.
