Very delicious food! Great price! We split chicken Shawarma and it was plenty. Very good friendly service as well.

These guys do gluten free pretty nicely. 2/3 of the food came out decently good. But the chicken dish came out with cold fries and 5 small chicken nugget size pieces of chicken. This place is always very short staffed always and you can tell on very busy nights people refuse to support this place. We came when every other place had a 1-2 hour wait. It had to have been a manager who took our order initially had fantastic service! She knew all the GF answers and even though the place was not busy but servers looked totally overwhelmed, she was calm and calculated. But when some of the food came out blah, they sent another server who looked dumbfounded when I asked about the chicken dish that was totally lacking. I clearly explained at this price point ($19) and this medium size plate, I am expecting $19 worth of food even with inflation and all that. Getting ripped in the suburbs is just the worst. The server didn't respond and looked very confused, but picked up the plate and brought back a redefined much better chicken dish. But the whole vibe was pretty mediocre the whole time. Ordered 3 dishes. 1 ice tea. About $80 with tip. I would say it was about 20% over priced. But the service at the end brought the stars way down. I bumped to 3 stars because of the managers service in the beginning and her knowledge of gluten free. Cheers!

After a movie at the Regal next door, we decided to visit Rina. As one of the first few customers, we were greeted warmly upon entering. I ordered the lamb burger with fries, and my wife opted for the chicken with rice. While her dish was decent, my burger was quite good, though the fries were heavily seasoned. The atmosphere was pleasant, but overall, the experience was average. Given Avalon's competitive dining scene, continuous improvements will be essential for Rina's long-term success. One improvement maybe to lessen the seasoning on fries.

Great service and delicious food! I happened upon Rina during some midday shopping at Avalon and remembered how good their fries were at the Ponce City location so I decided to dine in. I had the lamb burger with harissa fries and it came with a nice, savory dipping sauce. Delicious! I will definitely revisit for happy hour for some frozen cocktails, which is weekdays from 3-6pm. The ambience is casual and festive with a walk-up bar if you decide to grab a drink or snack to go.

Rina is a super cute low key Middle eastern spot in Avalon! I came for book club with some friends and really enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service. We started with the hummus which was an interesting butternut squash hummus. I had the steak kabob for my meal and also got to try some of the fries. I liked how well everything went together with the kabob, especially the sauces. I also feel like it was cheaper and I got the same amount of food as if I had gone across the street to Rumi's.Overall, I would highly suggest Rina for a nice quiet get together! They had a tahini and date milkshake that I was interested in as well, but didn't get up getting it bc I was pretty full.

I went with my wife, daughter and mother-in-law for an early dinner on a Saturday. We've been very anxious to try this place since it opened. We ordered the 6 Mezze plate to split. Everything was very fresh and spiced just right. On top of everything else we ordered, we had enough to take home with us. My wife ordered the Street Fries topped with chicken Shawarma, and I ordered the Grilled Salmon. Mine came on top of a bed of lemon dill rice with seasonal vegetables and labneh sauce. I try to get salmon dishes very often, and it was honestly one of the best I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Went with a few pals for a evening dinner and drinks. This is a new spot in Avalon, and I was game to try since I have had food in the country of Israel. The place is not crowded so we got a table quick. Our waiter seemed really young and not as familiar with the menu or confident with questions. We knew we wanted drinks so we ordered but they were very small. I was disappointed that I had the Hof Alma, which was good and a frozen cocktail but it came in the wrong glass and no straw. I had to ask for one because there was no way to drink it. Everyone did like their drinks. My meal was the Grilled Salmon Kebab, which was ok but needed more seasoning, like some salt and pepper as it was very bland and I had to ask for more sauce just to eat it bc it was not any to with the portion I was given. My other pal had a Falafel bowl which had a lot of food but the falafel was a little burn. Overall it's new so hopefully they can get it together for future diners.

Do yourself a favor and try the burger. The flavor combination is fantastic. We didn't have to wait for a table during prime lunch hours on a Sunday which was really nice

My wife and I had seen an early movie at the theater in Avalon and were glad to have this option still open after 8 for a meal! The lady who helped us at J. Crew nearby had only good things to say about the food, so that helped us agree to check it out! The menus are available outside the restaurant, and that was certainly enough to pique our interest upon hearing good things from someone who had eaten there several times. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated fairly quickly, but it took a while for a waiter to show up - it looked like the bartender was helping cover tables when we couldn't see any servers for the first 10 or so minutes. We had plenty of time, so this didn't bother us, but take that into account if that's the usual service speed and you're in a hurry. We had the beef kabob, hummus no. 0 (both pictured), and my wife had a frozen fruity rum drink. The drink was a bit sweet with a rock hard chunk of pineapple for garnish, and the hummus was almost creamed (didn't have the usual ground texture were accustomed to), but it all had great flavors and textures otherwise! We will definitely be back as we go to Avalon fairly frequently for movie date nights, and this place was advertised as open until 10 on Saturdays at the time I'm posting this review. A lot of other restaurants and stores around them close earlier, so I'll be curious to see if this remains the case.
