Unfortunately, their draft beer was down the night we were here. They did have bottles and cans, but they were different. There were a lot of cocktails, and Gladys, our bartender for the night, ensured we got something we liked. She was so friendly and helpful. We ordered mixed fajitas, which were good. Next time, we'll order the shrimp fajitas as the shrimp was the best part of the mixed fajitas. The beef and chicken were cut too thin, which made the meat dry. The flour tortillas were store-bought flour tortillas, which was a bummer. The black beans were delicious, as were the chips with beans we received when we sat down. Plenty of street parking. They do have TVs, but they have music playing from them, and there are no actual TV shows. All in all, it was just okay.

We typically place take out orders from the one on Allegheny Ave so when I noticed that a restaurant had opened on Lehigh, I knew I needed to check it out. I came with 3 co-workers and found a spot out front. There were a few open when I pulled up as well on the side street. Walked in and was immediately greeted and told we could sit anywhere. They have a full bar, music, TV's, high top tables and regular tables. It looked really nice inside. I really liked the decor of the ruin and Mayan woman. The chicken fajitas came out piping hot, still sizzling. Heard they were good and they came with bean, rice and tortillas. Someone had the quesadilla and I take it that it was good because they didn't have any leftover. I had the nacho fries and my co worker had the spicy chicken nachos. Both orders were large portions that we both had to box up and take home. Both were really good and loaded w/meat, cheese, jalapeños and diced tomato's and onions. We all ordered sodas (Jarritos and Mexican Cokes). I really liked the decor and it was looked really clean. Our server was really helpful and nice to our table.

Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to order lunch to go. Didn't really expect much since I've never heard of the place before. But I got the Al pastor taco and was shocked at how delicious it was! An order of 3 tacos was $12 and the tacos were pretty big and filling. My partner got the tongue taco and menudo soup which he said was the best he's ever tried. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area!

Had this giant birria quesadilla delivered. It came with red salsa, green salsa, consommé, and gaucamole. It fed the whole family and we had leftovers for lunch tomorrow. It was delicious!!

Ended up in the neighborhood early and had a little time to kill on a sweaty summer weekday evening. There isn't a ton in the area, so I popped in on a whim, and am glad I did. The menu was extensive and legit, but having never been and a smidge pressed for time, I went basic on the recommendation and got the trio of beef tacos. They were made fresh and arrived quickly, with two sides of salsa of differing heats. Everything was delicious, and I'm so glad I wandered in. Should I be in the area again, I'll order in advance and try something new. What a great local spot. Yum! Thanks again!

Stopped by today for their Christmas dinner where they were giving out free chicken fajita platters. It was delicious and even though it was free it was still the same high quality food you would get on a day when you would pay for itThanks for everything you guys do and see yas soon

OH MY GOSH. We have found our favorite Mexican restaurant in Philly. We've ordered take out from here three times. Must have: cholupas (green and red) and the birria quesadilla. No question. Other items we've tried that were also delicious: chicken tinga sopes and birria burrito. We plan on always ordering the cholupas and birria quesadilla and trying a new item off the menu each time we order from them. They haven't done wrong yet!

Hands down the best place I have ever eaten authentic Mexican food! His place is a hidden treasure Right in plain sight. The first time I ordered from here it was my husband's birthday November 20 21 and we were both in love. Since then we have ordered from there quite a few times and every time the quality is absolutely outstanding. One time we ordered there about a closing time and when we opened our bag of food there was an extra plate with like 8 tacos. They just threw them in because they were closing.

Best Mexican food I've had on the east coast for a decent price. Not bad service. Always playing music.

I've been to several times since they first opened. The Mexican food is pretty good although it says Mexican and Puerto Rican there is not one PR plate on the menu. The young lady they're waiting on the tables is great see you serve the drinks she even brings over the meal that I ordered she does the best to attend to the customers but she's there alone they need to hire help for her and help in general. Do not go in when there's 10 to 12 people there cuz you're going to wait and enormous amount of time for a simple meal. I went there today with my wife I ordered four tacos order of nachos and we waited damn near 2 hours we just didn't feel like driving anywhere else we were tired and hungry we just had a couple drinks and it took forever and it's a shame cuz the food is pretty good but that service sucks there's no way in hell anyone should be waiting for nothing like that for that's fast food that we didn't even order an entree. Shame on ownership. Ya gotta do better.
