Not a huge store, but their bourbon and agave selections are both good. Staff are helpful if you have questions, and I find some sweet deals here occasionally. Recommnd if you're in the area looking for a smaller independently run liquor store.

Great little store that is well lit and very clean. They have everything I have ever needed. Al is the owner, spoke with him yesterday for a few minutes, could not have been nicer. Great Bellaire liquor store that everyone should know about. It is right behind H-E-B, easy to get to.

Won't be going to this store again. This store is where my father has shopped and bought his wine and tobacco for years. Recently he introduced me to the store and I bought some good cigars and some Glenfiddich that was priced comparably to other local shops. Today I went back and decided to get some cigars to share with friends over Christmas. They had a decent priced bulk pack 5 cigars for $35 which I picked out of the humidor. As soon as I turned around and went to pay at the register I was accosted by a burly Middle Eastern/Indian man who said: "Let me see that. This has been opened!".Let me clarify -- all the cigar packs there were put in loose zip bags that were a size too small, so all were and looked "opened". The individual cigars were in wrappers, and all were as "opened" as this one.I assume this guy is the manager or owner. He said he needs to check as that selection isn't right. He brings me a second pack which is the one that I should buy, as the front one apparently had a supposedly more expensive cigar that "someone" as he said glaring at me, has switched. Apparently according to him, I switched it, and I am thinking he put better quality first pack and that's just standard bait and switch. Maybe it is as some of the cigars wrappers have a "bulk" label on them and he can't sell individually. The store was also almost empty so I'm sure he could've looked at his humidor in more detail.Long story short, I wouldn't be going there as I'll make sure my family won't as well, and we'll move over to the Richmond Specs which has fantastic friendly staff.

I have been a customer of Rice Fine Wine and Liquor for many years and not only have they constantly gone out of their way for me on numerous occasions for requests I have had, that not many stores would do, but they also continually support the community that we live in giving back when asked or needed. They will go out of their way to make sure you find the right wine or gift you are looking for. I have alway been complimented on the selection. Tonight I went to the store to purchase some last minute gifts and I was first approached in the parking lot by a woman telling me not to go in to that store they were mean and she continued to follow me telling me they towed her car, but went into the store and started yelling at the staff and customers about the store and being completely irrational. This store is located in a shopping strip behind a new HEB that was built and the entire shopping strip is limited on parking and has numerous signs posted that you will be towed if you park here and walk to HEB. The wrecker driver sits in plain sight. She parked and walked to the store and her car was towed. This was not the fault of the liquor store. They do not own the shopping strip, nor control the towing company. She directed her anger at the wrong people and there was never not one anti-semitic slurs ever mentioned during her rant at the employees of the liquor store. She continued to harass any patron of that store outside and in the area until the police arrived and warned her to leave.
