I had tried this place so many times, this is the only picture I took. First off, most items are pretty pricey, while the portions are good, some of them are not worth the price in my opinion. The place is very clean, nice and quiet, they usually get busy around lunch time tho. The staffs there are friendly and very helpful if you need help with your order. Lastly, the food is delicious , highly recommend the katsu set, the fried chicken is nice but a bit too sweet for my liking.

I visited the city and chose to eat here as I was in the mood for good Asian food. The signature bibimbap is really good and I would definitely get it again. They told me the egg usually comes scrambled but I've always had a fried egg in my bibimbap so I asked for it that way. The prices are a bit high but my portion was pretty large. The veggies tasted crisp and fresh. The place is more of a order yourself at the kiosk since they have few attendants. Keep that in mind if you have questions or request for modifications. The place itself is very low key and they bring your food out. I would certainly return for this bowl.

To be honest the food was very good. The service was friendly. The atmosphere is fine. It's just way to expensive. ( that said I really enjoyed my hot stone BiBimBop)

When I think of Korean food, first thing came to my mind was their fluffy rice. The very marinated galbi, insanely mouth drooling flavor and its tenderness texture, yum. And of course, can't forget the spicy and vinegary kimchi. Is this the same Rice and Mix that used to be on Walnut Street? It sure don't taste the same.I thought the older location was better! The interior design and the seating is waaay nicer than this new spot. We started with Korean fried chicken in soy garlic. I've requested the wings to be fried well done, and the requests were ignored after she says ok. If it can't be done, just tell me before I order so I don't expect it. Compare to Bonchon's, Rice and Mix soy garlic are pretty tasteless. 6 pcs of wings(not whole wings) were $12.95, I rather go to a Chinese take-out and pay $10 for 6 very flavorful whole wings. Next disappointment, the galbi. I had remembered their galbi to be extremely flavorful. Not today, their galbi lacks the "very flavor" they used to carry, but at least is still tender(the only good part). Let's get to the kimchi, it used to be spicy, all I taste today is saltiness, tryna give me high blood pressure of some sort??? If you think the wings is the worst part of our meal, U R WRONG! The fluffy white rice that I'm used to with Korean cuisines doesn't exist here, the rice is hard and chewy, a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!The best part of my order is the Soon Du Bu, I got this order to-go. Rice and Mix's Soon Du Bu is made with huge chunks of tofu which i loved. I have it made with medium spice, i think this is the perfect spice level. Will I return? Yes, because my hubby likes their galbi.

Order through Grubhub because of free delivery and $5 off, it's a good deal. I was expecting my food to be delivered at 1:05 but got noticed that it's delayed to 1:35. That's a little bit disappointing because it would pass my husband's lunch time so the meal became dinner instead of lunch. Fortunately it arrived at the new ETA.Spicy pork: decent portion size, packed with rice. Pork slices are thin but tender and not dry. However, it's not too flavorful, needs sesame oil and soy sauce, a little bit bland. It asked for level of spiciness and I wanted spicy. The pork as is without extra gochuchang isn't spicy at all. They put extra gochuchang on the side.

The Kim- chi rice was decent, but the wings were almost inedible. The wings were soft and not at all crunchy (which is what you typically expect with Korean fried chicken). We got the spicy flavor (the sauce was VERY sweet & not spicy at all). 3 stars for the rice and good customer service.

For a seemingly fusion/western palate-appeasing place, I was actually really impressed with my latest visit here. I came here a long time ago and got a rice bowl and wasn't impressed, but it looks like they've changed their concept a little and I can say that I'm a fan.I ordered a beef soondubu, which came with white rice (no side dishes included, sadly), as well as a bottle of water, and it came to around $11, which is respectable for lunch. The flavors were what I expected and maybe even a bit more since I've experienced so many so-so experiences at places like this. It could have been spicier despite me asking for it to be spicy, but I got a lot of soondubu in the actual bowl, though the vegetable choice was a bit different than what I'm used to. The rice was a little undercooked so I basically turned it into juk (rice porridge) towards the end.I will definitely come back to try other K-food staples like galbitang and maybe even brave the ddeokbokki!

Overpriced for the size of the portions in my opinion. The food was solid though but one meal was $20
