Ribs On Wheels

I got here early like at 11:30a but they were not open yet. Last night I was told that RIBS ON WHEELS (ROW) had the best ribs in town. Because I am a rib lover I had to find out for myself. When they did open the smell of the barbecue got my attention. And then I saw them and the flow of juices flowing throughout the meat It's about to be ON!!!So I ordered a pound of ribs for home and a sausage link sandwich for now. Links are always the open act for me when it comes to ribs. I wanted some chips but they did not have any. So the Que-connoisseur recommended the potatoes salad. The potato salad was pretty good-the texture and creaminess was very satisfying.The sausage link sandwich was different. It was very light in taste and good and juicy.The sausage sandwich really made me want to break into these ribs but they are for dinner.Well I must say dinner last night was less than enjoyable. The ribs didn't taste grilled, now they were tender but tasted as if they had been boiled first. -Not good to boil ribs. Now I will say their homemade BBQ sauce is very good; however, it could not cover up the taste of boiled ribs.I initially rated them as a 4 star but after the ribs I must update to a 2 Star-WORK ON THE RIBS PLEASE

I ordered the brisket dinner and the moment I tasted the brisket...... whew, I couldn't get out the car until I finished the entire dinner he put together for me. Comes with potato salad and baked beans and two slices of honey wheat bread. Soooo dang good! He deserves 10 stars. Y'all...... get the brisket dinner. You won't regret it. In fact, I'm trying to get another brisket dinner today! I wish I had a photo to show everyone but the meal didn't last long enough to stop and snap a photo. Yumm!

So many positive things to say about this place and Mr.Wayne! Mr.Wayne himself was so generous with the food he gives and extremely polite and friendly. His customer service is reason enough to come visit! Now when we talk about the FOOD: very flavorful, juicy and delicious ribs! The brisket was tender and moist. The baked beans perfectly sweet and flavorful. His Mac and cheese was cheesy and slightly sweet,different for me but still very good! Oh man and his BAKED POTATOES ARE ELITE! Definitely will come here again

Best BBQ I've had. I wish they were closer to me but it's worth the 35-40 minute drive to them. The taste is amazing. You don't even need bbq sauce for the ribs and the portion is definitely worth the money. Love it!!!

With such high reviews I had high expectations 1.it took a long time to get my order. Second, the man had to repeatedly repeat my order, because he kept forgetting what I was ordering. Finally, I did receive my order and his machine wasn't working so that he had to key in my card . He probably forgot my order because he spent most of the time on his phone someone else while I was ordering. all of this was fine I really didn't care, but when I got home, I was highly disappointed the mac & cheese have no taste and multiple burnt parts. I bought 2 pounds of brisket and a brisket sandwich. The brisket sandwich have flavor but a lot of it was fat . I literally forced myself to eat. I spent $90 on the food. The only thing that was actually delicious for me was the potato salad you don't go to a barbecue spot for potato salad I guess it just wasn't my day.

Great spot, friendly and entertaining, moist meat, not overly smoked or overcooked at all. ON POINT! Well worth the money and stop. Mac & Cheese was like it came right out of the oven. My only wish was for a few tables to sit and eat. But the operator said they are improving the grounds next week. It's already a great spot but we look forward to bringing the gang next time and enjoy that big trees shade. Basketball hoop to boot as well for the kids.

Ribs were very good & I enjoyed the greens and potato salad. I plan to come back . Also, service was on point , very friendly and quick .

These ribs are worth traveling from out of town for!!! Just the right amount of seasoning, cooked just right, will be sure to stop by on future visits to Houston.

Ribs and sausage is always on point. Flavor and tenderness is there. No need to even use the bbq sauce. Sides were okay- I got what they had which were potato salad and baked beans. Wish they had more to choose from during the week but maybe one day I will make the drive on the weekend and try their other sides.
