Reina's Restaurant

Well, I stopped in because I saw the star rating and read the reviews. I do have to say that I was not impressed. I walked up to the counter and was greeted promptly but when I spoke in English the lady seemed quite agitated. Had she not rolled her eyes and made it obvious I would have gladly spoke in Spanish. There were only roughly 10 patrons when I walked in, clearly not busy at all. I walked up and ordered two pupusas to go. The wait was ridiculous! Two different waitresses acknowledged it and went to check on the order. Two other people came in and received their to go orders before I was handed mine. I went to hand the first lady my card and she informed me that it had to be more than 6.00 for her to accept it, so I had to pay with cash. My plan when I walked in and smelled the food, was to go back this evening and pick up dinner. But I can guarantee you that I will not return to this establishment! It's clear that I was not welcomed.

This place is great with the best pupusas! I will definitely come by to enjoy all the refreshments and seafood is 2 thumbs up by far!

wow food is OK service not ok all thier reviews are correct if your not a man you're not getting great service there! I went today husband ordered drink waitress only asked him he had to call her back so I could tell her what I wanted, we ordered she brought food I said excuse me to ask her for an extra plate she ignored me kept walking. she came back and ask my husband if he need extra plate afterwards at register she and my husband held long conversation about what dont know, and she streched out hand while he was counting his change with real big giggly smile big deal right, no, the point is I felt discriminated cause I'm not a man that waitress can flirt with! so maybe 1 star food is not bad but leaves a bitter taste after being treated like that.

Good food but very very bad costumer service I waited an hour for my food to get ready

The food is hot and ok. the service is extremely horrible. They are slow. They will argue back with you. They will forget about you and take years to get back with you for utensils or anything extra you ask for. The servers are unhappy, grumpy, and slow. I ordered something to go and it was wrong.

Pretty good food, pretty terrible service and they overcharge. My waitress literally left the restaurant, got in her car and left for at least 45 minutes. During that time no other employee even approached my table to ask how things were. The waitress then came back and asked if we needed anything else, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

I love their pollo catracho and the pupusas are so good and on Thursday's they have them for $1 it is a busy place they're always full so sometimes they do take a little long with food but if you order ahead it'll make things much easier.

Went to this place to show my friend what a pupusa was. Brush up on your Spanish because the menu is not in English. Waitress that took our order was fluent in both. Food was amazing. I had combo #3 and it fulfilled my Latin food craving.

Good place in Alief to get central American food. Even time I've eaten at this place the food is made to order, very delicious. On Thursdays it's 1$ pupusas which is a great deal, if you plan on ordering to-go, call ahead to avoid the wait.

This is an awesome place to eat for el salvadorian food. Order the Mariscada and pupusas!
