Red Hot & Blue - Morrisville

I've always been a big fan of Red Hot & Blue was happy to see this location open. We were in the area last weekend and gave it a try. It's definitely as good as I remember and still one of our favorite BBQ places. The locations we have been to previously were more of a sit down restaurant, but this location is fast casual. We really liked this setup and it had a good atmosphere. The employees are very nice and got us taken care of quickly. We liked how they pulled the pork to order and you could see what you're getting. The food is awesome! We all got pulled pork sandwiches with potato salad or mac n cheese. Everyone loved the pulled pork and the sides are very good too. Their sauce offering are also on point. Overall, we would highly recommend this place!

First time at Red, Hot, and Blue. Food was great for the price. We came in after lunch so it was not crowded at all. The manager served our orders and made us feel very welcomed. So glad we stopped. Blessings,Michael and Suzanne Riojas

I'll start on a different note with the atmosphere. The music is great, they were playing a blend of blues and folk. Also, the staff was very friendly, they answered all my questions and they weren't robotic about it. While I was eating, I noticed they were checking on drink levels and making sure everything was kept clean, major points for that.The food itself, well, it was just ordinary run of the mill BBQ. The ribs were seasoned pretty well, but I had to really use my knife to cut them into individual portions. Pretty good flavor, not the best I've had, but still fair. My pulled chicken was fine, especially with a good dose of mild mojo sauce. As for the sides, I wasn't thrilled. The mac and cheese looked and tasted like it was right out of a box. The baked beans were fine, they used several varieties of beans in the recipe. There were even a couple of slices of sausage in it.To be fair, it was a decent enough experience, but the food just wasn't what I was hoping for.

Stopped here for dinner after shopping nearby. They have several lunch specials and dinner specials that come with 2 sides, drink and hush puppies. I chose the pulled chicken, green beans and baked beans. The chicken was plentiful and not dry. I added the sweet sauce and it was good. The green beans were good but they had a bbq sauce added that took away from the beans. The baked beans had 3 different beans, sausage and pork in it. They were very good. Tea was brewing when I was there so was good and fresh. Hush puppies just ok. Clean tables and a few booths. They also have outdoor seating. The sauces are no longer on the tables but are near the drinks. Still a good assortment to choose from. My tray was ready before I could even pay. Nice service, good location with plenty of parking nearby.

First off, the food is really good, as agreed by the 6 of us that combined had all of the meat offerings and the stuffed potato... and you won't leave hungry. The service was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and helpful. The store was amazingly clean. They do have limited bottle and canned beer. "Back in the day" RH&B had the ambiance and charm of of a southern bbq joint, and music (hence the name and logo)... but this has lost all of that charm and feel, fitting in with the strip-mall vibe that surrounds it. Ordering and serving is cafeteria style as they scoop your order out of containers, and you bus your own table.

We've been here several times a week for lunch since we got here. Service is fast and the restaurant is always clean. Lunch specials are fairly priced and you'll leave satisfied. They have the best hush puppies I've ever had and it's not even close. I find myself craving them. The stuffed pig has been my go to but everything I've tried has been delicious. I've yet to try the baked beans but they look killer. I just ant bring myself to stear away the full order of hush puppies. Although they do give you two regardless of what you order which is a nice touch.

Food is great but this place is a hidden gem in Morrisville. Staff is friendly and always willing to give recommendations when you ask. Lunch specials always available during the week day.

Went to Red Hot and Blue for lunch because the hotel I was staying at had a coupon for $10 off of a $25 purchase. It's a fast casual restaurant, where you order your food at the counter, pay at the register, and seat yourself. I ordered the Tennessee Triple, which gave me a choice of 3 meats and 2 sides. I ended up getting brisket, burnt ends, and pork ribs for the meats, and fries and mac and cheese for the sides.The mac and cheese was gooey with super overcooked pasta, but it wasn't bad. Fries were hot, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and well seasoned. Definitely the better of the two sides. The meats were pretty good. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the flavor of the rub wasn't too strong, and they were pretty fatty. The burnt ends were nice and fatty, and not too burnt. They were drenched in a sweet sauce. The brisket had good flavor, but was a bit dried out. The sauces on the table were decent, my favorite was the mild mojo.Not bad considering it came out to $15 after using the coupon.

Got curbside pickup recently. Ordered the brisket plate.Best brisket I've ever had!!Very tender, and juicy. Not overly smokey. Highly recommend.

My order was to go. The customer service was really good. Everyone was friendly. The Brisket Ends were tender and delicious. I bought extra potato salad; so very good.
