Small hole in the wall bar that generally is the kind of place I seek out, but unfortunately the service was not good on my trip. I only stayed for two drinks because it was clear the 3 wait staff manning the small bar were more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers. At first I sat at a table because the barstools were full (15 seats or so) but no one came out from behind the bar. So I eventually walked up and stood at the bar. Even then I had 3 bartenders pass by until one asked "you good?" (For context I came from dinner and this was my first stop of the night on a Friday around 7:30PM) Th bar filtered people out pretty quickly (likely due to the service) so I had 2 quick drinks and left.

Came here with coworkers my first night in Atlanta. Love the games including skeeball and basktball shooting. I ordered a ginger beer mixed with pineapple juice, and it was on the house because the bartender was so nice and said it was nothing!I downed it (and my coworkers loved their alcohol), and I really appreciated seeing tennis being shown on a TV at the bar. 2 weeks prior, friends and I had had trouble finding a bar playing tennis.

This was my second time here. On both occasions they were host to a invite only special event as an offshoot to Whiskey x. This definitely has a dive bar kind of feel. The bartenders are nice and the drinks are well made but this is not a high-end or trendy kind of place. They have some standard video games and the sports game on tv. The prices are reasonable. You can park in the back and it technically says that you have to pay

Came into the place at 11:01 pm on 10/25/21, was told by the bartender, place was closed and he refused to serve us any drinks. Drove all the way here for a friend's birthday (50min drive). Whoever that bartender was need to go. Man was racist or something cause he went and served another person after telling us no.

I love coming here solely because sometimes they have dogs and they have old school games. the bartenders are really nice and it's a chill spot to wait out traffic.

Love this bar. They allow dogs so clearly I had to give this place a try. My puppy was a happy one on a low key night. Need to come back again.

Red Door Tavern is an example of a good hole-in-the-wall dive bar. I came here on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday and the bar was absolutely slammed with people. We were shoulder-to-shoulder inside and it was a struggle just to get from the entrance to the dance floor. There is an outdoor patio, but all the action is inside. When you enter Red Door, the bar is long and the space is narrow. Towards the back is the entrance to another room where the DJ and dance floor are located. The DJ played a variety of mainstream, dance, rap, and retro hits (e.g. Michael Jackson). Nothing too crazy, but it was good stuff. The room with the dance floor has a small stage with a dance pole for the ladies. The room with the bar plays a different set of music that is chosen by customers off the jukebox. The drinks are cheap and all in all, I had a fun time here. I ran into Nick Cellini and Chris Dimino of 790 The Zone at the bar. I don't know what they were doing here on a Saturday night because the crowd was mostly twentysomethings. Even they admitted to me they were too old to be there. My friends and I parked close Red Door, in a small parking lot on the same side of the street. It was $5 to park and we had to insert cash into a huge metal box. The slot we inserted the cash into corresponded to our parking spot number.
