RC by the Pound Cuban Cuisine

This place is great. The Cuban sandwich is delicious, the palomilla and the pierna asada were divine, and the croquetas are on point. I was just in Miami and I like this better than some of the places over there. Also, the original Rincón Criollo is fantastic too! They know what they are doing.Service was solid. Nothing over the top, but we were well taken care of. Ambiance was clean and bright. Didn't come at a busy hour but was pleasant. Not loud or chaotic. Approved.

Great new spot! Good Cuban food. Much needed for this area. They have a nice buffet lunch from 12-2pm for only $13. Good service as well. We ordered the steak palomilla steak and it was good. But the portion is a bit smaller than what I expected. But the food was yummy! 10/10 recommend this place

My wife and I wanted to try something different after visiting our dermatologist, we asked about a Mexican restaurant that was close by and were asked if we liked Cuban food so we tried it for lunch, Wow excellent! It's a buffet at lunch and the ladies that waited on us explained how it all worked with the buffet, really really good food

Extremely grateful to be reviewing RC again--I'm so happy they have reopened after remodeling. Their food is just the same if not better. This place is so good. If you haven't been by yet, do it!

Man if you love food specifically Cuban food this place is it. Cute mom and pop restaurant but gives you that authentic feel. Food was simply amazing from Oxtails to Beef milinease. Definitely going back for lunch.

I love Cuban food, especially a GREAT CUBANO Sammy! lol I absolutely love this place! You KNOW an ethnic restaurant is great when you see real Cuban families there! Highly recommend!

Good honest Cuban food in Katy. Good selection of classic dishes like arroz con pollo and ropa vieja. Cuban sandwich's are well done and great to go or quick lunch.
