TLDR; I won't ever go back again. They held the line with a reservation and was extremely rude. I've been to Ratio a few times now. The first was an engagement party my fiancé surprised me with after he proposed. Music, vibes, & service was on point. I went another time with friends a last Fall and the service/vibes was a bit off but thought it might've just been that night. I tried to go again last weekend to celebrate graduating and it was a mess. Despite having a reservation, they made us stand in line for an hour. The whole time, the bouncer knows how many is in our party and even let my sister go inside to use the bathroom. They finally let us in (after standing at the front of the line for 20 mins) and for whatever reason will not let more than 4 people in our group inside. The bouncer was super rude to everyone and got rowdy with my partner and another in the group so we left. As much as I enjoyed this place once, I will never go back again.

Their social media page and the actual establishment are totally different. We booked this location for brunch and a luxury experience. However, the ambiance was very loud & crowded. The food was good and came out in a decent time despite the restaurant being extremely busy. Our waitress was very attentive. This establishment does charge an automatic gratuity AND tip. We made reservations for 2:00pm for a party of 7. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an extremely long line outside and was not seated until 3:30. I do understand this is typical for Sunday Funday in Houston. The mimosa tower and hookah were both decent. Not sure if I would visit again.

I went here for brunch for my anniversary. The place was a whole vibe they had a live dj, and the music was on point. The seating was not what I expected. we shared a table with another couple that sat across from us, so their really was no table room for your food and drinks. They had booths, but they were for bigger groups. It wasn't that big for it to be a popular place. It was chilly in there so your food got cold fast. But it definitely was good for a turn-up. I would definitely come back cause we were treated very well.

I'll give it 2 Stars but should be 1. I'm just a nice person. There's a lot going on here and it's very unorganized. The bartender was nice and great eye candy but got my drink order wrong twice. The food came out cold and asked for additional condiments and never got. Order a hookah online that also never came out. I asked the bartender if I could tip him in cash since he said I couldn't pay my bill with cash (that's a first) tip him $9.00 in cash and look at my account the next day he still charged me gratuity on the bill. I will never go back to this spot.

I would not recommend it. The waiters are trash and have a nasty attitude. The sprite tastes like water. The hookah man ain't even trying to sell the hookah ,he more focus on selling grass instead . They charge everything on one card so if you go with a big party then be prepared for everything to be on one card. You have to stand in line outside also which is dumb . .. Come here only if you are getting a section, other then that ain't no standing room .. My wings also came out faster than my drink. It was 1 hour before I got my drink

This spot was okay... we came here on a Sunday for brunch and since we were a party of three, we were sat at the bar. Unfortunately, it kind of kept us away from all the energy in the spot since everyone was behind us! But we had a mimosa tour, hookah & our food was solid. THE BEST THING THERE IS THE CHICKEN WINGS OMGGG, I genuinely still think about them & my trip was weeks ago lmao they were amazing, so I would definitely recommend those!

Brunch while in Houston! Love the decor and layout of this place. Spacious and great vibes. Service was a little slow but it was busy. The food made up for it for sure. Ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, lemon pepper wings and fries and a side of collard greens. The food was well seasoned and great portions. Can't remember the name of my drink but it was great. Also smoked hookah which was definitely good also. Overall great spot and will definitely visit again next time I'm in H town.

I received an invitation to go to Ratio on a Friday night from a friend who spotted an Instagram ad boasting $.75 drinks and $2 lamb chops. We arrived around 6 PM.Parking was available with a valet attendant charging $30 for close spots and $20 for slightly farther ones. The $20 parking was literally 5 to 10 spots down. Opting for street parking at $2 saved us the hassle.Upon arrival, there were two lines: one for parties under two and another for groups of three or more. Despite having reservations, we waited about 45 minutes to be seated, noticing larger groups were prioritized. We watched for almost a half hour, groups of three or more being brought in as soon as they stepped into the line while we waited. After the wait, my friend and I were placed at the bar, where we learned about the night's special: $2 lamb chops, BUT THERES A CATCH of purchasing a full-priced drink. The $5 advertised drink special didn't count toward this food requirement. The quality of the drinks varied, I decided for my full price drink I went with the margarita, and that was poured well! Hookah - Pricing was communicated to us at $39 for a hookah, ended up costing $50 due to additional fees, including taxes and a preset gratuity. While the ambiance and DJ were good vibes, the service and food were average. The hoops we had to jump through for the specials left a negative impression, especially considering the overall cost surpassed expectations. If seeking a deal, be prepared for hidden costs and extra steps. Ratio may not offer the same customer-centric experience as other establishments in Houston.

I recently visited Houston for a relaxing getaway and decided to try Ratio for some drinks and food. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered lamb chops, which surprisingly came out with brown gravy, and while the food wasn't disgusting, it wasn't impressive either. I also had the queso dip with chicken, which turned out to be quite bland with minimal presentation. Sent it back. To top it off, we ordered Patron shots, but they were clearly bottom shelf. We all woke up the next day with headaches and feeling sick.Overall, Ratio did not meet our expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it based on this visit. I gave one star because they played good music.
