Randy's Smokehouse BBQ

Nice little BBQ place close to home. Surprisingly good prices for BBQ. The chopped beef was what I went to get by the lb but I added in half a chicken, mac n cheese, and Banana pudding. The sauce on the chopped beef was great and not overly sweet. Loved the pudding and it was nicely presented. The chicken was ok but nothing amazing. I will definitely go back and get more chopped beef and try some of their other meats. This is the kind of place I want to support

Some friends and I have been going here for probably the last six months on Fridays for the fried fish special. The fried fish special has been so phenomenal and when you leave your tummy is quite happy and full. Major comfort food. We went yesterday and we noticed there's some staff changes, but that kind of thing happens at all restaurants. The kicker was there were gnats in the drink machine area and then also the salad bar and baked potato condiment area! Not a lot, but just enough to be annoying We were really surprised never seen anything like this B4! here. We asked if the manager was around and we were told not at that time. We feel sure they will address the issue. You can't stay in business if you don't take care of business! And evidently they have always done so or they would Not-still be in Business. The food is seasoned well & very tasty, so if they address & get rid of them, everything will be good.

Brisket is so tender. Every day they have different specials On Friday my favorite is the fried catfish with 2 sides and the best cornbread. Also they have pork tenderloin with 2 sides if you don't want catfish. Plus you need to check out menu. The turkey is a big hit with my Grandson. We have never been disappointed eating here. Service is always wonderful. Always greeted with a smile. We have families get together here now. Very kid friendly . Plenty of parking.

The chili was terrible. The barbecue was OK. The potato salad was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. I even like the restaurant. I like the set up and been here a long time. I've lived out here 30 years and this is the first time I tried it don't think I go back.

Hole in the wall bbq place. We were debating going to papa's bbq or Rudy's and somehow ended up giving Randy's a shot. It was ok, bbq may not have been fresh. My kids' brisket was pretty dry and over cooked. The chopped brisket on my baked potato was meh. The place looks like a throwback to the early 80's and not in a good way. The service was fine, that's why I'm giving them 2 stars. For the quality of food the price was too high, and the price wasn't that high. I do not think we will be retiring, it'll do if you really want bbq and aren't used to better quality. Ranks bellow papas, papas ranks bellow Rudy's, rudy's ranks bellow killen's and so on and so forth.

Moist cut sliced brisket sandwich was off the chain good. Struggled to eat half of it. Took the other half home for dessert lol. They have daily specials too. Quite impressed with this hidden secret

I have been going to Randy's BBQ for 10 years. Today their brisket is best in Clear Lake in taste and price. What I rave for is their HOMEMADE BBQ sauces to stir your tastbuds. Mustard BBQ, Carolina Vinegar based BBQ, Sweet and Smoke BBQ or just your reqular Texas hot BBQ sauce. No one else makes their OWN BBQ SAUCES like this!!!!My family eats this as a staple each week. PS: the moist Brisket is my recommendation.

BBQ pork, brisket and ribs didn't have much flavor, and everything we had tasted old as well as the macaroni and turnip greens.

Always get our briskets smoked here!! Comes out juicy and flavorful couldn't be happier

Randy's Smokehouse and BBQ screwed us over!!!! I have used these folks for about 4 years to smoke my turkey. I called to ask when I needed to have my turkey there for it to be smoked for Thanksgiving. Was told it was too late to bring the turkey in but I could purchase a turkey from them, said they offered a 12 & 14 pound turkey. I ordered the 12 pound turkey and was told it would be $60. I gave them my debit card over the phone. I check my bank account a few days later to find they charged me $97.43!!! I was furious!!!! Their explanation was that I was given the wrong information!! I went up there & cancelled my order and they issued me a refund. So today I check my bank account and do not see my credit from them. I call the bank and they tell me that Randy's Smokehouse and BBQ cancelled the refund!!!! What kind of business does this!!!!! I will continue blast them until I get my refund, they actually stole my money!!!!!!
