Randy's Pizza

This is the real NY-style pizza. Very, very, very thin slice... which is how I like it. Get the plain cheese! Garnish with a bit of oregano. Perfect!!Up there with Di Fara's in Cary, NC/Brooklyn, NY.

It's pretty good pizza but personally I don't like their dough/crust very much, a bit dry and like cardboard if you ask me.Better than most pizza chains but doesn't hold up against some of the more unique options in Durham.

My boyfriend and I both enjoy Randy's quite a bit. The 2 slice special and some garlic knots is plenty for the both of us . We love the service all of the lovely employees working the front make the experience. Do stop for the special it's a quick fulfilling lunch!

Randy's was our go-to place until the 2nd time there was a hair in the salad...just threw it away ($10 wasted). Not trustworthy or sanitary. Looks like other reviewers had the same experience, so maybe the employees do it on purpose?!

I ordered through grub hub so I can't place blame on anyone in particular. However most places use seals on items so this doesn't happen. I opened my box and to my surprise I got someone's pube. I was looking forward to this place. Now I have to try a different one.

Ordered a pizza nd hot wings. The wings had no sauce at all. Plain bare wings and the place wasn't busy so I have no idea how they screwed that up. The pizza was ok, but not great. I think the dough was too think. Definitely not my favorite. I will look for a new place next time.

Pizza was large and better than most, but not much more than an average NY-style pizza!!

(We are only in Durham on the weekends and usually get pizza hut, but they are going downhill lately, so we shopped around for a new cost-effective pizza joint)We ordered two calzones, 6 garlic knots, and 6 mozzarella sticks, with marinara and ranch. The calzones were the best I've had, the dough was perfectly cooked, cheese was melted and tasted fresh, the pepperoni (we got substituted instead of ham) tasted like deli meat not just bland greasy fast food pizza pepperoni. The garlic knots were fantastic they could've used a little more garlic. However, the bread was perfect it was fresh and perfectly dense dough, cooked all the way through but still soft. It's definitely a fresh breath of air from Pizza Huts frozen mess. The mozzarella sticks however I give a 4 out of 10, could be my fault though because we ordered takeout instead of eating in but we didn't like them, they were to tough and a wee bit salty. The prices are amazing for the amount of food and flavor!! Overall, I WILL be returning. We enjoyed it quite a bit!!! 8/10

The pizza is good, not really NY, I am from NY. The ambiance is bad for customers whose orders they make mistakes on, then the service becomes really bad for you as a customer, you are not allowed to mention a mistake was made on your order as I found out. I was jumped on by the clerk & by the owner in a demeaning manor. The order was for a simple combo meal with 2 slices w one topping, and a drink, which was to be 1 plain cheese & 1 pepperoni slice. I have dealt with Randy's for years now, and when I got the order, it was in a closed box to go as requested, but the order was 2 plain slices, I carried it back to the counter & the female clerk said in a demeaning tone to me: " so, it's a simple problem we can fix, you don't have to say it's not what you ordered". I told her it didn't seem simple because this was my second time in over a month coming here, and again my order is botched. The owner then got involved yelling at me that it's no big deal he'll just throw some pepperoni on the slice and forget it. When I questioned his intent for remedy, he and the clerk start yelling at me to leave & not come back!!! I agreed, and I asked for my refund of $9.41 to be put back on my card, she took pic of me, or my account & they asked me to leave and never return. Am I wrong to assume there probably was more to their attitude towards me as a person they did not want to do business with because I don't accept wrong orders with grace and belittling with honor to be spoken down to? Raw chicken problems as always.

I recommend another location , The New manager is Horrible , Very bad attitude and they never get the order right ! The last 2 times I've gone to this location My Order has been completely wrong . And so this time when I came in I asked if she would personally take my order, And She Said No , I'm training So you will wait And allow me to train him to take your order , Needless to say Sandwich was wrong again ! Pizza is is extremely oily .
