This was an impulse purchase after a long day at work and a tweet from BreweryARS. Ramble parks outside BreweryARS on Thursdays so I saw a tweet from ARS promoting this crazy pickle pizza special. I live in Kensington - so a good 20 minute drive away from this place but this Pickle Pizza special was worth the effort! My husband called in the order and had no issues picking it up. I will say I had the pizza about 1-2hours after we picked it up (see long day at work). My husband kept it in the oven on warm and it held up well. When I got home I was more than stoked to see him pull this gorgeous large pizza out of the oven. It tasted just as good as it looked! The pickles were fresh and crunchy and the tzatziki sauce with dill was a perfect compliment. The crust was thin and sturdy - like it didn't flop around and wasn't soggy at all. This was some bomb pizza and even though it's far, I'd make the trip for this pizza again. It's just a bonus you can pick up some great beer right next door.

It pains me to give Rambles only 2-stars. This place is fairly new to the Philly scene and is already much beloved, and raved about. I even know people who order from here once, sometimes twice a week!I may have had super high expectations, which were impossible for Rambles to live up to, but I have to be honest-- it's just not that good. We recently ordered from them while they were at ARS on a Thursday evening-- a margherita pizza with sausage and mushrooms. A little unconventional, but some of the pictures online steered us in that direction. The pizza was ready for pick up at the designated time and the pre--phone ordering was seamless. It took us a little while to get home and find parking, so we decided to heat up our pizzas in the oven to get that fresh pizza effect. However, when we opened the box, the toppings were barely discernible, or at least, not as plentiful as previous Yelp posts had shown them. We shrugged it off and hoped the taste would redeem it. The pizza wasn't bad, but it really wasn't good either. The sauce, from the little I could taste, had amazing flavor-- there just wasn't enough of it. I had the same sentiment with the cheese and the toppings. My friend actually said while eating the pizza, "Oh, I forgot we ordered mushrooms because I can't really see or taste them."The crust was thin, but lacked a chewiness that I want in all my pizzas. I'm usually a 2-slice max person, but honestly, I was STILL hungry after two. It just kinda reinforced the idea that the pizza lacked substance :( My friend and I just about finished the 16" pizza ourselves. Overall, I'm just a little disappointed-- at the hype, quality and apparent inconsistencies.

I'm hardly an expert on Pizza but I have been to Difaras in Brooklyn so I have the benchmark to compare any Pizza to. In Philly, nothing beats Beddia but getting a pie there is no small feat. If you want to get close to the Beddia experience, it's as simple as following Ramblepizza.com to see where they will be (coincidently sometimes parked just a few blocks from Beddia in Fishtown.)I ran into Ramble at the Wissahickon Brewing Co, this weekend and while I enjoyed the beers, the pizza really stood out. Kudos to Lauren and Ben for keeping it simple and focusing on making fantastic Pizza. Definitely a food truck to seek out.

Amazing pizza. Creative toppings and always a fan favorite when I am visiting Brewery ARS in South Philadelphia. Super friendly folks working and reasonably priced. They offer slices too, so you don't have to always go all in for a full pie. I love that they use provolone on many of their concoctions and it is not overly sharp, so just enough tang to complement the rest of the toppings. Crust always on point and not overly cooked. Just perfection.

Incredible pizza. Living in south Philly (where great pizza and Italian food abounds) we consistently order Ramble every Thursday without fail! Best sauce, crust, and cheese. It just hits different.

There is no better brick oven pizza in SEPA. Great folks and complimentary basil a big plus. All ingredients are good quality and generous amounts. Very reasonably priced. Great specials. Can't think of a single thing I would change.

This is a review of the Ramble Pizza food truck when it's been at the Mt. Airy Weavers Way Co-op location on Fridays. A great addition to the neighborhood. Happily, they sell pizza by the slice. I've only tried the mushroom pizza and plain cheese pizzas. Cheeses were very good, and some of you might prefer an even thinner crust "Roman" style, so this was pizza in the thicker end of the Roman style spectrum. Nevertheless excellent - what is better than a pizza right out of the oven? I had some concerns about how they'd turn out a pizza from an oven in a food truck, but was very pleased with the results. Owner-run and operated, and they are really friendly, nice people.

YES and YES. i love making pizza dough and sauce etc etc.... I started making my own because no one else remembered what makes a great pie. These guys know their shiitake. Tonight I had my first pizza from them, a "purple pizza" according to their instagram, red onion and kalamata olives. WOWIE WOW WOW. A part of me is sad because I know I will be making fewer pies at home... but another part of me can't wait to try something else from their menu. As a vegetarian I wonder if they do meatless "meat" pizzas...and in conclusion.... try these guys!

First of all WOW! What a great looking truck. The paint job is amazing. So colorful and beautiful, like a sunset or something else pretty. But the important thing is the pizza, and I've got to say I don't think it could get any better. Beautiful crispy brown crust, tomato sauce bursting with flavor, all covered with melty gooey mozzarella goodness. Tasty enough to make Michelangelo say "Cowabunga" dude. Finally the service. It's the best. The order taker is gorgeous and just the sweetest human. I believe she is a French model? The best part of it all is they cater, and will come to you with a pizza party. All you have to do is give them money. How sweet is that?

Just had Ramble Pizza again at Wissahickon Brewing Company over the weekend and decided to write a review. The pizza was the perfect compliment to the beers - everything is fresh and you can actually taste it. The mushroom pizza was ridiculous, look out for it and get it when you can (get fresh basil if you can.) The service is absolutely lovely - Ben and Lauren are so friendly and welcoming. It's always good to know that you're food is being prepared by great people. The pizza is also great for when you're just walking from bar to bar (especially when they're at Frankford & Girard) or shop to shop. It's not messy, just delicious. Definitely look them up and get at that pizza.
