Great place to get your juice. Nice selection, and prices are comparable to Spec's. They always have some nicely priced specials in the middle of the store. Parking is tricky depending on which direction you're entering and when you arrive. I'm even starting to get along with the radical lesbian cashier. LOL

Quelle suprise! What a surprise! Initially, desperation called me here, but upon entering, the amount of variety caught me off guard. Aesthetically, this place reminded me of a random liquor store I used to visit in New York. Not pretty, the location is a little sketchy, but they alway got the job done. For being so small, they have a lot alcohol you won't find in the bigger stores. The staff is always nice. I'm not sure if they're connoisseurs, but they've always been helpful when asked. I'm not a fan of the places that keep harping you around the store. I usually like going in, getting what I need and getting out. Not only do they have variety, their prices are surprisingly great too. Huge thumbs up!Pros:+ Great variety.+ Great prices.Cons: - Size- Aesthetics. - Location (you might not find it).Overall, they probably have what you're looking for and for cheaper. The biggest drawback is their aesthetics, but if you can get over that, there's a lot to offer.

I love this place! It's like a small Specs but better. They always have AWESOME sales. Like dollar vodkas, rums etc at checkout and the prices are comparable to Specs for sure. Staff is always friendly and not overly pushy like at some other liquor stores...ahem...above stated...ahem. Not a huge wine selection, but I'm definitely okay with that. If you have a Ralston's nearby you should for sure check it out if you are looking for liquor at a good price, trying to shop super local and trying to get in and out.

Convenient location on the 90, which is on my commute. Decent selection - I also like how they have a Texas section. Good prices, especially on Our favorite vodka. I wish the beer was a little cheaper (you can find better prices at the big brand grocery stores). They even have some McHenry whiskey sometimes. Staff check out is fast & easy.

Discount liquids? Yes please-even the fancy ones. We came here in search of the balcones whisky, made in texas. They have it and for a better than other places price. For those who don't know squat about whisky (I'm talking to you, red staggers and fireball ers), this whisky was rated #1 in the World for whisky. Crazy it wasn't a Scottish one bit good on ya, Texas.

I frequent this place but never write a review..Now the prices lure you in, but the draw is the selection is somewhat limited. Hence the name. They certainly don't have everything the big box/big chain liquor stores do. Some top shelf items and then smaller vendor spirits as well. Service -is fair. I usually can't find anyone to help me with a recommendation or help on selecting the actual items (for some I know, this is where it ends for you) But there's always staff to ring you up quick and say a hello. (see, brightside) It's a Stafford staple in my view, with neighborhood charm.

3 stars for the prices and weekly specials... HOWEVER! Every time I visit this location the (Caucasian) female at the front counter is using profanity as if this isn't a business establishment. As soon as I walked in from my battle with 5 o'clock traffic I hear. "You can STFU" I was like whoa! She was talking to a Hispanic male. He and the other Hispanic female behind the counter laughed as if this behavior and language was appropriate. Chile please! Anywho, I strolled around the store looking for specials and it was just MEH! I came across the discount liquor section where all the reject non selling liquors were. I was able to grab a bottle of UV watermelon vodka for $6.99 and a bottle of Bacardi apple rum for $7.99... sweet! But I won't be coming back to this location as it's a HOT ASS GHETTO MESS! I'll go to the hood Ralstons to the one on S. Post Oak.

The shop itself offers a good overall selection of alcohol as well as good prices. I wouldn't say they're "great" on prices, but some things are cheaper here than other places, while others aren't. Ralston does offer occasional sales on liquor and service is overall decentThe reason why I'm giving this 2 stars, is from my recent experience. Walking into Ralstons, I noticed a group of 3 just hanging out standing there at the end of the wine racks. Their conversation included some F bombs and general curse words. One of the Ralston's employees confronted the guy and they started to get into a verbal altercation as to why he should or should not speak profanity. It got tense. If this was between employees, it would make some good sense as to why and as a business in general is good to not have profanity from anyone. These 3 guys weren't shopping around for liquor, they're just there just to hangout, chit chat, and just loiter while mouthing back to the employee is disgustingly distasteful from a customer point of view. Ralstons need to kick these guys out if they're causing trouble. Granted this Ralstons in the part of Stafford that is not exactly desirable, it still affects their business as a whole when situations like this happen. I'll think twice before going back to this Ralstons location.
